Sorry dude, if you were like...here a week ago, you'd have your riolu. But don't worry, they're on the next island...

you can still join, though!

Sorry...I already bent the rules once...I mean...if it was...PERFECT...I might...MIGHT allow it. But I doubt it...unless its perfect...but I would suggest an alternate...I do love Turtwig, and Cyndaquil would help a lot in the first area...and you do get an egg move...

Okay, I might be absent for a little while, you know why. Keep truckin', and I'll be here as much as I can.

to gengun. sorry, no. Please stick with what I've got.

to king, alright. I'll keep waiting.

Name: Blake Shin

Age: 16

Personality: Blake is an odd person, many would describe him as just plain weird, mostly people his own age, so naturally blake is considered an outsider. Once you get to know Blake he is a fun person to be around, he always has a new joke and would you give you the shirt off his back. The few people who have gotten to know Blake would tell you he is brave, kind, funny, and extremely loyal. However, Blake has his flaws, he is painfully shy which may be why he is an outsider, he also is very inteligent but he does not like to show this fearing he will become even more of an outsider. His one major flaw is an external thing, his twin brother Jake, Jake and Blake are polar opposites, Jake is outgoing, athletic, has average inteligence but works hard to get good grades, and most of all Jake is popular, something that Blake painfully wishes for. Jake and Blake are very close though, and Jake considers Blake to be his best friend aswell.

Appearence: Blake has jet black hair that is almost too black, it seems to be more like a purple it is dark. He has electic blue eyes that always seem to be crying, he is never seen not wearing his half of a yin-yang necklace (his twin brother has the other half), he also carrys around a dark red backpack which he holds the neccerary items for a pokemon trainer. He wears a royal blue hoodie that has a picture of a cyndaquil on it (Blakes favorite pokemon) and bue jeans. He always wears tennis shoes, plain white affairs nothing really special about them at all. Lasly, he has a very nice watch he always wears (his dad gave it to him before he died of cancer). All in all Blake is not a person who stands out in a crowd. He has a slender build and is what most people consider "scrawny" and he is somewhat short, a little below average for 16.

History: Blake started as a normal kid, he went to school, had a lot of firends, and generally was a kid like any other, but it all changed when his dad was diagnosed with lung cancer when Blake was 12, Blake never really recovered from this and became reserved, shy, and shut out the rest of the world. At the age of 13 he was attacked by a masked pokemon trainers Meganium, he was saved by a wild Slugma, which is why he is so fond of fire types and scared to death of grass types. He lost his mother at age 14 and was left in the care of his uncle, Jake was so busy on his journey he could not make it to his mothers funeral, which is why Blake resents Jake now, but for some odd reason he still wears his half of the yin-yang necklace, the yang part. Blake has had a troubled past and never smiles now. He once told his uncle the reason he never smiles is because everytime he smiles he thinks it is an insult to his dead parents.

Perferred Starter Pokemon: Cyndaquil, I do not know any of his egg moves so I will let you decide that part lol.

RP Sample: this will be my first RP so I will take this from a fanfic I am writing on a different site.

Wind rippled through the curtains in the small pokemon center bedroom that Ace was staying in, which woke him up. The skinny boy of 16 stretched and yawned as he got out of the small bed that was pushed into the corner of the two room setup. He walked into the bathroom and splashed water on his face to wake himself up, he grumbled as he took off his undershirt and boxers and turned on the shower. After his shower he got dressed and headed down to the lobby of the pokemon center.

Ace walked up to one of the video phones and called the only person he knew, Professor Elm, "good morning Ace, I heard of your victory at the Sinnoh League, why didn't you call me?" Ace sighed, he knew Professor Elm worried about him as if he were his son, "I got a bit sidetracked, ya know?" Professor Elm just shook his head, he knew Ace really wasn't as apathetic as he seemed. "Well you should head to the lap soon I want to see you…" Ace just shrugged and said, "ok I will head that way."

A few hours later Ace arrived at Professor Elm's lab, which never failed to amaze Ace. He strolled in jumping in surprise as he saw two other kids around his age, one was a tall muscular boy with brown hair and shocking green eyes, "there's Clint" Ace thought to himself. The other was a beautiful girl with blue eyes and blonde hair, "and there's Trish," Ace thought with a sigh. The other two had started their journeys at the same time as Ace, Ace even though he had Sneasel had gotten Chikorita from Elm, Trish got Totodile and Clint got Cyndaquil.
Elm looked at all three of them beaming with pride, Ace was champion in three regions and runner-up in the other, Clint was the champion in Johto having beat Ace, the only trainer to ever do so in a pokemon league, and Trish who was a Whirl Cup champion and runner-up in the Sinnoh League championship having lost to Ace. "All three of you have been invited to the Top Trainer Tournament at Summit Stadium, I have arranged for you three to fly from Goldenrod City Airport tomorrow; I wish you the best of luck." Ace was shocked to hear this, here it was his chance to become a pokemon master! "Also I want you to meet up with an old friend of mine when you arrive there, Ash Ketchum," Elm added casually. Ace was about to have a heart attack, Ash Ketchum was his idol and he was going to get a chance to battle him! Ace knew the competition would be rough, but he had good pokemon and they would not let him down.

Extra: Eevees rule!

No doubt in your acceptance! Good work!

Anyway, just post for chapter 1...and then 2...

remember that 1 has to be ending at snowpoint temple and chapter 2 is in it.

also, how about reversal? I can't give you flare blitz, or i would, since I love cyndaquils.

Ok before I put up chapter 1 what is reversal lol I am a bit out of the loop when it comes to pokemon attacks....

Its an attack that does more damage as you take damage. Its a fighting type move...very handy. Especially in the battle you face in chapter 3...

Blake arrived in Snowpoint City late on a firday night, he noted there was a gym but it did not appear to be open, so he turned and thanked the ferry's captain, whom was an old friend of his uncle, and set off to find his twin brothers hotel. When Blake walked into the Snowpoint Inn he noticed it was most definatly not a 5 star place but it would do until his stay here was over. His brother Jake was excited to see him again after 3 years apart, and talked endlessly about his many different journeys as a pokemon trainer. Blake was glad when all the talk about adventure, pokemon, and gym battles was over, Jake then brought Blake abrutly out of his trance-like state by saying, "well i better get to bed, it is late you should too little bro," it got on Blakes nerves when Jake called him little bro, however he had always imagined Jake as and older brother anyways. The next morning Blake went for a walk around town, Blake soon became aware that someone or something was following him, he went on for a few minutes pretending he did not notice. Eventually he decided to casually look behind him, he was overjoyed to see that a wild Cyndaquil was following him, he loved fire types and Cyndaquil was his favorite pokemon. Jake had given him a pokeball incase he ran into trouble, so Blake said, "Cyndaquil would you like to be my pokemon?" Cyndaquil jumped for joy and made no attempt to free itself from the pokeball Blake threw at it, and for the first time in 4 years, Blake smiled looking at the pokeball in his hand.

(and reversal sounds good to me)

Good post, now write chapter two! I love Cyndaquilz!

chapter 2: Temple In The Snow

Blake was so excited he could hardly tell Jake the whole story, after he was done Jake said, "well I guess you will not need me anymore, so take these with you and go become a pokemon trainer," Jake handed him 5 pokeballs and with that Blake said bye and headed out into the snow. He wandered around for a bit until he notice a strange structure in the distance he wondered if he was seeing things or not so he headed towards it, he was shocked to discover it was a large temple in the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of town. He was hesitant to go into it but he gulped loudly while holding onto Cyndaquils pokeball, and decided he was safe with Cyndaquil around and headed into the temple. He looked around and felt like he was all alone in here. He was mortified however when a wild Snover charged at him from nowhere, Blake threw out his Cyndaquil and nervously began his first pokemon battle. The Snover launched an attack with surprising speed, Blake knew it was powder snow, so he yelled dodge it Cyndaquil! Cyndaquil jumped out of the way just in time and Blake yelled use tackle, Cyndaquil plowed into the other pokemon causing it to fall backwards, the Snover got up and looked like it had plenty of fight left in it. The snover then launched another powder snow this time it hit and sent Cyndaquil sliding back, he commanded Cyndaquil to use tackle again, this time Snover dodged and immeditaly used leer, Cyndaquil's defense lowered at this and Cyndaquil looked like it had taken a decent amount of damage from Snover, Blake told Cyndaquil to run towards the Snover, Snover hit Cyndaquil directly with another powder snow. Cyndaquil looked about done and then Blake told him to use reversal, the Snover fell over after being hit by the attack, and Blake crossed his fingers and watched the pokeball rock slowly back and forth.

It's alright...I guess you can catch him, but...

1) Remember to put talking in quotations...

2) Try to make it a bit longer next, please. For example, here's mine. I'll make it long. Here's how you catch a higher level snover. Just make it a better post! Make it long and well written!

Okay then, to buisness...

Blake caught a level 3 Female Calm Snover

Upon alerting the other trainers, Sam walked in. It was really dark inside the temple, and the ice cold stone on the floor was seeping through his shoes. Shoot...these were horrible conditions to be working in. Still, Sam continued to walk in. In the time he was walking, Sam heard loud noises coming from the bottem of the temple. Growling. Great, something was down there. Sam kept calme and kept going. It was a test of courage, and it was probably just a recording anyway. Sam kept walking. He had gone down 2 floors when he saw something. A bunch of rocks was in his way. Not wanting to wait long, Sam started climbing. Within a couple of minutes, Sam was nearing the stairs. He was glad to be moving quickly. Suddenly, the rock he was walking on moved. Sam fell onto the ice below. "ONIX!" something screached and then a pokemon started to move. In fact, the pokemon was the rocks Sam had been climbing on. "Shoot. This isn't good...Eevee! Do this!" Sam yelled, throwing out his pokeball. Eevee came out and growled cutely. "ONIX!" the pokemon yelled, charging at Eevee. "Hm...we should deal with that. Eevee! Use Tail Whip and Growl at the same time!" Sam said. Eevee turned and started shaking its tail, then quickly turned and growled at it. Onix stopped for a second and then continued towards the ground where Eevee was, just a fair bit slower. "Now dodge it!" Sam said. Vee jumped up and Onix missed. "Now Tackle!" Sam said a bit louder. The pokemon was hit by Eevee and pulled back. Tail Whip had done fair work, as it had lowered Onix's defensive skills. Growl lowered its attack, so Sam was clarly working with stats.

Sam knew this strategy, as he had used a similar one in trainer school simulations. "ON!" the pokemon yelled. Suddenly, Sam remembered his pokedex. That would help. It said, "Onix. The Rock Snake pokemon. This pokemon has a magnet in its brain that allows it to keep direction while burrowing." "Hm...interesting. Well...hm...let's try this. USE TACKLE ON ITS HEAD!" Sam yelled. He knew that it might be a problem to do this. In fact, it would probably be a problem, but he knew that if his plan worked, it would be perfect. Eevee took damage in this, as the pokemon's head was solid. It got the desired result, however. Onix had lost its sense of direction. "Hm...maybe now. I should use a pokeball...GO!" Sam yelled, tossing an empty ball at the pokemon. It hit, and Onix was sucked in. The ball immediatly started shaking violently. One shake, two shakes...three...Sam knew it was working on locking. Sure enough, it eventually sealed. Sam had just caught a pokemon!

Sam caught a level 3 Male Onix that is Brave!
