Name for deoxys

I know why they gave Deoxys his name!!!
It has to do with DNA!
DNA stand for Deoxyribonecleic acid.
They got Deoxys' name from DNA. The first part of the DNA is Deoxy as you can see.
Also in his normal form ( as i look in my FR/LG guide) his arms are a Double helix. Jsut like a DNA strand is.

So you guys/gals concur? Or do you think they did it for another reason?

This kind of stuff is more suited for the Pokemon Name Meanings thread (and has already been mentioned in there before, I believe). ^_^ There's no reason to make an entirely new thread about what's behind a pokemon's name, especially for just one pokemon.
