Naruto and Geass put on Hiatus, Bleach gains more run time on US TV

For some of us here, the news regarding Code Geass R2 going on hiatus and Bleach getting additional airings on Adult Swim, both of which are given equal mention alongside Naruto in that article, would be of greater importance.

I created separate threads for those 2, but digi-kun locked both of them :(.

Hey hey hey, you made pretty much the same thread post 3 times with different sections highlighted. I even told you in one of the threads to go fit it all into one, as in edit that first post with all that good information from the other threads >> then we can go ahead and change that thread name...

I think its not going to finish its run. Action Flicks is no more and Naruto only had a few episodes left so I don't see a reason to wait around for it.

A few?

It's still going in Japan, and Shippuden has barely started in the USA.. it's got more than a few episodes left. o_o

Not that I've watched it on TV for a long time, but it's still a bummer that it's on haitus, for the people that do still want to watch it. :/

I'll stick with the manga. <3
Which is pretty freaking epic right now, bytheway. x3

I'm in the same boat as Baby Naruto.

There's only one difference between me and him...

I'm not very patient, but, I CAN deal with subtitled anime since I'm watching two subtitled anime at the moment anyway. (I will not mention what those two animes are)

The only difference is that the only reason I'm watching them in the first place is because those two animes have pretty much been CANCELED in english dub format. If they weren't canceled in english dub format, I'd still be watching them in an english dub.

I WILL move to the Naruto subtitled anime... but ONLY if it's CONFIRMED WITH A RELIABLE SOURCE that the english dubbed Naruto anime has been CANCELED.

And by reliable source... I mean ANN (Anime News Network)

Unless that happens, I WILL CONTINUE TO WATCH THE NARUTO ENGLISH DUB AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

Thank you.

The dub isn't cancelled Mega. VIZ has already begun with Shippuden meaning they finished with Naruto.

Naruto only has about 10 episodes left to get to Shippuden, Drew. :D

I edited the main post to the best of my ability.

Naruto Shippuden is not available english dubbed on TV, online, or on DVD yet.

You remind me of 2 people, one on Toon Zone Forums and another on Cartoon-World Forums.

(This is not meant as an insult, nor a compliment, I'm just making an observation)

Episodes 210-220 of Naruto have indeed been english dubbed, they just haven't aired yet on TV english dubbed.

^^^Correct.

But... Cartoon Network won't show them because they're ******* ********

No, they won't show them because they're busy with more popular Cartoon Network shows.

My last post before the Naruto fans pin me to the wall with Kunai knives...

The Mega Champion, grow up. Not everyone likes Naruto in the world and you can't just throw a fit because they don't.

I honestly can't stand Naruto, but please, stop acting like crazed out Twilight fangirls. Honestly, it's just my opinion and I have a right to that. I don't hate any of you because you like it, I don't have a grudge, I'm not going to rip on it just to make you all upset, none of that crap. I just don't want to get involved in a geeked out conversation (which, admittedly, I get into with the things I'm into) about it. To be honest, I think that most of you would hold the same opinion to my interests, but I would not react like an upset 9-year-old when you tell me that you don't like it.

I'm simply talking about this subject from a more broader point of view that can be applied to much more than just a few episodes of Naruto.

Anyways...

All I gotta say for you Naruto fans is that you guys seriously need to grow up. Waiting a few months for a couple of episodes is not going to kill you. If it is, get some more interests. If you can't wait, live with a subtitled version for a while. You'll learn that there are ways to get around things like that. It always costs a little extra, but if you want it, then it's really worth it to you.

What Cartoon Network is doing is completely legal, and in fact, entirely logical. If they are getting more people to watch Bleach than Naruto, then they will support it more because they can gain more money off of it. There's nothing corrupt here - in fact, if CN didn't do this, they would possibly go out of buisness.

If you truely want to make a change, then stop watching Bleach and watch Naruto. If Naruto gets more views, CN gets more money, and they'll support it more. Simple logic.

I've been waiting for a third installment for GS for almost 6 years now, and I'm not whining about it, so don't whine about Naruto being held on hiatus for a little while. Get some patience.

So if you want to hate me for life for having an opinion, go for it. I don't care anyhow.

(and no, I'm not angry, I'm just suprised to see that this is how you would all react to this)

^ Great post right there Pokemon Jupiter Version. =D

I like Naruto, but I don't let it run my life. It isn't that special. It will back on tv. Maybe CN ran out of money to air it on tv. Or their broadcasting license of Naruto is about to end. If they can't show the rest, I guess put the rest on DVD. Of course you have to wait, but it is the only way. I do have a feeling that Naruto will be back. So everyone will need to wait and see.

Now about Bleach and Code Geass. I am glad they are airing more of Bleach. Since now it will get out of filler mode soon. Get to see cannon material soon. Code Geass, I think like Naruto CN ran out of money to air it. Or there was a problem with the distribution of the dub or something. Something happened there. But on May 2nd it will show new episodes again.

The bottom line is, Naruto and Code Geass will be back on. Well I know Code Geass will be back on for sure. Naruto, I really don't know. We got to play the waiting game. And I really don't mind that at all.

I have a feeling that Shippuuden will go to directly to DVD. I won't be surprised. It has arcs that probably won't work in the network. They will have to edit a lot of stuff. So what would be the point? Release it on DVD will be good, in my opinion. And saying putting it on Adult Swim, won't work. They are more concerned about their own shows right now.

There are other alternatives to watch the anime you want. You don't have to rely on tv. That is my say about it. Unless they said CN canceled Naruto, there is no reason to get upset. There are other ways to watch it. Do it the legal way though.

I don't think Naruto was good nor did I watch it that much. I suppose that the show didn't do well with the 6-11 viewers so CN cut it.

My advice: Wait for the DVD releases or for it to be picked up again by another channel. Just don't go for fansubs because it kills the industry.

Ugh. Fine.

You win.

This round...........

Do you go around and crush people's hopes and dreams? Because it seems like you do.

Um....... nevermind. If I offended... sorry, I guess.

But if it's canceled... expect a LARGER anger from me and everyone else.

BTW... straight to DVD is BS. I don't have the money to continuously buy DVD's. If Shippuden goes straight to DVD then I'll have to watch it online and cause more problems financial for dubbers.

Adult Swim should show it. But if they want to lose money by just releasing the episodes on DVD... fine.

You could always DOWNLOAD DVD Rips of the DVDs FOR FREE man.

That's what I'm gonna do :).

Well...this new is interesting. Though most of it doesn't rub me the wrong way or anything. All the new BLEACH on AS are still during the Bount Arc, which maybe better than most filler, yet it isn't worth re-watching for me (watched sub). Though I can't wait for them to enter Arrancar arc Even though I've seen them subbed, I like rewatching interesting stuff dubbed. Geass R2 is in the same boat, but I lost track of watching the dub anyway so it isn't major loss.

Naruto, which used to be good to me, isn't anymore. Not to mention the last 10 EPs are just horrid filler, so I'm actually happy about it being on hiatus.

I wish CN/AS would pick up a new interesting anime...AS' anime w/ the sword woman or w/e is kinda boring to me.
