4th Gen Naturally Glitched Cartridges?

My pokemon gold is glitched. There's a random item it picks in the game and when you pick it up the screen freezes and you have to start your file all over again. Also it gives you a second pokemon when you start. XD

Are you Serious?

None of my pokemon games are glitched. :D

yeah i'd think they did this intentionally for tradition. so really, glitched cartridges are not "naturally" glitched. there's no reason to beleive that it was just a glitchy cartridge when there are THAT many glitches on it. it's illogical to beleive it. i mean, if one glitch were to occur, the level 175 cap would be a believable "natural" (or better worded unintentional) glitch, but to actually have missing no and the bunch of glitches that come with the tradition of pokemon, it's quite obvious that if this IS true, then it was intentional and there has to be hundreds of glitchy cartridges.

I only encounter Missingno If I am in a wild territory and I Just walk into the wall. The cartridge also fried my last DS while encountering MissingNo, He looks just the same as he did in R/B. But yeah it seems I lost my camera or left it at my apartment.

we'll never know if he's saying the truth since he hasn't posted pics >_>

by the way missingNo is simply a vector error, the array that contains the pokemon (basicly) has a certain amount of "containers", when this array is passed MissingNo, aka Missing Number is found.. Simply because the game is alooking for a number pokemon that does not exist, it's not an actual pokemon, it's just an error message telling you you are searching for the number of a pokemon that does not exist..

A glitch that appears when there's no set Pokemon to appear there, but you've encountered a Pokemon anyways. In the Color Generation, this could be done by Surfing up and down the side of Cinnabar, since no Pokemon were set to appear there even though you were supposed to. The game doesn't know what to do, so it gives you the lowest numbered Pokemon, which is always Missingno., with a Pokedex number of #000.

I highly doubt you can obtain missingno in diamond and pearl,
No pictures = fake... shame on you.

Yes, and also to add to that. While I was hacking pokemon ROMs, I found out that Missingno is actually the the sprite of a pokemon you have not seen yet in your pokedex. (Like the question mark)

battled a ho-oh without level on crystal

I believe his game's glitched because mine is too, although not as bad (or good, depending on how you look at it).

Whenever I go to the battle tower and fight Palmer, he comes out as a random scientist and when I beat him I don't get the 20 BP.
