If I'm not mistaken, Charizard isn't a "tank" like venusaur, kangaskhan and Snorlax are. So I was thinking of gimping his defense or special defense in favor of more special attack.
I'm thinking I might go with Rash over Mild, since there are a lot more "Physical moves" than "Special moves" in the Pokemon world that my eventual Charizard will face in WiFi battling.
Do you think thats a good nature (Rash) to go with for Charizard or should I be considering an entirely different nature?
Another one up for consideration, because I've already bred a perfect Bulbasaur with a modest nature (I do not plan on having any Attack moves in my final Venusaur but all Specials) with both Chlorophyll and Overgrowth abilities, is to make a sun team with a Solar Power Charizard and with Venusaur maintaining his Growth Ability (Growth goes up 2 levels of special/attack in one turn under intense sunlight) and teach Charizard Solar Beam. The Sunny Day will gimp water attacks and his Solar Beam will be brutal on Water Types, and a Chlorophyll Venusaur will see plenty of benefits under intense sunlight.
Input is appreciated, I've basically only bred 2 perfect pokemon for my team so far, Charizard and Venusaur, next projects are probably Magikarp/Gyrados and Kangaskhan, eventually Gastly, Dratini and maybe Ralts. Oh and Skarmory, of the few matches I've seen , I've seen players start a round with throwing spikes on the enemy as soon as the round starts.
I got no idea how to build a competitive team input would help.
