what is a good nature for a charmander?

Adamant for physical sweeper, Modest for special sweeper. It all depends on which moves you want to use.

Or you could use Naughty, so you don't have a drop in Special Attack, as you would with Adamant. Adamant on a Charizard should only be used with a pure physical sweeper (ie, Choice Band Charizard), and Modest only for pure special sweeper. However, Naughty will allow you to hit pretty hard in both departments.

Either way, Charizard DOES make a better phyical attacker than special attacker.

Jolly for the Belly Drum set so you can kill almost everything that comes in your path while avoiding taking damage.

There's no real need to sacrifice a Defense just to get the double STAB in D/P since you can get Physical Fire STAB with Fire Punch/Fang, which should still do something to Skarm after a Belly Drum.
