i dont get why there so important whats the difference between a charmander with a serious nature then one with a rash nature?

Serious Nature has no effect on Stats.

While Rash Boosts Sp. Attack and reduces Sp. Defense.

Yes, each nature boosts one stat by 10% and lowers another by 10%. Neither nature is good for a Charizard anyways. Go with Modest or Timid.

Serebii has a list of natures and what stats they increase and decrease, if you really need it.

Personally, I wouldn't care about natures unless you're going to get into competitive battling. :\
