Metagross @ Life Orb / Leftovers
    Ability: Clear Body
    EVs: 140 HP / 252 Atk / 116 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Agility
    - Meteor Mash
    - Earthquake
    - Explosion***>>This move needs replacement since I do not want to go through any trouble to get this TM.

Go for Life Orb and Im not sure about your EV's, mine are 252 attack, 10 Speed, 100 Defense, 56 HP. And if you want a new move to replace Explosion, well that basically screws up agiligross, explosion is perfect for it. Best thing to do, would be Thinderpunch or Hammer Arm I guess.

How do I get Thunderpunch on him?

Breed for an Adamant in Emerald, its the same as in DP. You would need a Porygon for that though. If its unatainable, then Hammer Arm on a Adamnt Metagross, might work.

Why would I need Porygon? Won't Ditto work the same?

Explosion works wonders on Life Orb Metagross. However, when holding anything else, I advise against it.

You could always use Pursuit. After an Agility, Metagross becomes highly frightening, and normally causes a lot of switches. If you can predict right, and Pursuit them on the switch, you may get an easy KO. Doesn't work as well as on a Choice Band Metagross, but it's still workable.

As for EVs and nature... Adamant all the way.

EVs: 252 Attack, 152 HP, 106 Speed... you'll want around 106 Speed to guarantee that after one Agility it will outrun things like Aerodactyl and Jolteon, and other base 130's. I think it outruns Timid Electrode (base 140), however I'm not positive if it would outrun Jolly Ninjask, with that insane 160 base.

Are you sure? My EV spread that I came up with seemed good, it was like this: 116 HP / 252 Attack / 100 Defense / 40 Speed

That set would work well with a Choice Band Metagross (but with no Speed EVs). If you're using Agility, you'll want around 100 EVs (at least, if I remember from Samson, 88), otherwise Jolly Aerodactyl, and anything else with 130 base Speed, +Speed nature and maxed EVs, like Jolteon) will have a field day, and might KO you before you KO it.

The reason is that Agiligross doesn't need to absorb hits, really. As long as it can outrun the foe, it's at an amazing upper hand with that beastly Attack stat. The only time you'll really need to absorb a hit or two is on the switch in and the turn you Agility, which, with proper prediction, you can bypass both of them.

The ONLY thing 40 EVs in Speed will do will allow Gross to outrun other Pokemon at 70-75 base speeds (granted no EVs), like Milotic. And without Thunderpunch, Metagross has no right going in against her to begin with.

    It's a shame that thing doesn't get Stone Edge. ;_;

Thunderpunch if you're afraid of Gyarados I guess. Other than that, there's always Zen Headbutt for that friendly STAB Boost (especially against Levitating Weezings =/)

Ok well I finally got an Adamant Beldum in Emerald, and if I'm not mistaken I can get Explosion (once it evolves) taught to it through a move tutor. So, quickly, what would be the complete EV spread for this Agiligross?

    Exactly what Prof Steel mentioned
106 Speed/ 252 Attack/ rest can be either HP or Defense, your choice

Would it be all good if HP and Defense were split? I was thinking of half/half or more hp with less defense ev's.
