Ok imma start breeding as a rockie breeder since i have read all the documents about breeding, also egg move breeding and chain breeding and everything. However, i can only understand about less than 50% of them. I think once i get into work, i could learn more and fill the other 50% and make my own business.

So anyway do you have any advices for me to start breeding pokemon? Like your own experience when you started breeding how did you do that?

    Thanks :)

Start with the easy stuff first, like using Ditto to breed natures onto certain species. Get a Pokémon with Flame Body/Magma Armor to speed up the egg hatching process, especially if you'll be hatching ones with long egg cycles or more than one egg.

One important thing to remember with chain breeding is that you really need to keep an eye on the father, the one with the egg moves, to make sure their level doesn't get too high. It's really frustrating to go through the trouble of breeding moves onto the father only to realize that he lost the egg move as he leveled. There's no way to prevent that beyond just watching the levels and making sure you know where there's a decent gap in levels where they won't learn a move. This is especially true with freshly hatched fathers that go right in the day care, as they gain EXP really quickly and gain a move around four-six.

There's a number of websites that will help you figure out how to chain breed, such as Veekun, but it might be outdated for HGSS.
