Hi everybody, I'm new in pkmn community and I have a few questions,
    if anyone could help me.

I've read about DVs and stats experience, but there seems to be something
    I don't understand
It happens that I trained a mew until reaching level 100 and I saw that
it's stats were very lower than the max stats mew can have. So I did the box trick
(fighting a lot and then deposit on PC) and saw that it's status were increasing
so I did it until my mew had:

    HP: 399
    Attack: 282 DV=7
    Defense: 294 DV= 13
    Special Attack: 294 DV= 13
    Special Defense: 294 DV= 13
    Speed: 292 DV= 12

I also trained a Tyranitar until reaching level 100 and tried to do the box trick but it didn't worked
Tyranitar's exp when he reached level 100 was the maximu exp a pkmn can get 1,250,000
The box trick doesn't work with Tyranitar
So , does it means that Tyranitar has achieved his max stats or the box trick is useless with 1,250,000
    exp???
If I level up a pokemon to 100 with rare candies does it have less stats than a trained one???
If so, can I use the box trick to max out the stats of that pkmn???
Is there an easy way of getting a pkmn of DV=15 in all its stats???

I also need help with my team, please give opinions, what should I change, improve or remove.

keep doing the box trick UNTIL it's max. This is crystal and there is no limits except for the species max. EV doesn't exist in Crystal so keep re-doing the box trick.

Box trick never stops working until a pokemon reaches the species max. Numbers for "experience" doesn't mean anything, as it's the secret non-written-out stat exp that counts and makes up everything. Try battling more than putting it in the box for a longer period of time and the effect show be showing.

Tyranitar- good. Might want to make t-tar your pseudohazer... in the days of GSC pseudohazer is still vitallity important (well in Advanced you can rely on brute force but not for GSC)

Snorlax- selfdestructless and curseless Snorlax is definitely new for GSC... but you really need rest on it. Rest is your best friend in GSC due to max def is possible. I don't know if your moveset will work but try it out?

Lugia- Hydro Pump has way too little PP for such an endurable Pokemon... change it to Surf (or ice beam due to your team's lack of ice attacks). Leftovers is a choice for items.

Ho-oh- I never really liked sunny-beam combo... but it does work very well. However with both Lugia and Ho-oh, dont' expect to use this team for online battling

Mew- oh dear this team won't be facing anyone at all pretty much... 3 supreme legendary is yucky.

    -sword dance
    -shadowball
    -softboil
    -HP Fighting

Magneton- change item to quick claw... however be careful with such a lengthy setup, a STAB-raindance-surf form your opponent will be taking advantage of this and it will KO Magneton... Magneton's sp.def is not that great

overall a very good team. the only prolbem are the elite legendaries...

    Mew

You could just buy a bunch of Stat Items like:

    X Special
    X Attack
    X Defense
    X Speed
    X Accuracy
    Dire Hit

Stuff like that. If your playing Crystal, go to the Super Poke Marts in Goldenrod or Celadon City, they should be on one of the floors.

Wait, wait, I've never heard of the Box trick! What is it and how do you do it?

items are strictly forbidden in tournaments or online battling... just keep doing the box trick and you'll eventually score it.

The box trick is this: there's a hidden Stat Exp in GSC that affects your Pokemon's stats. Even if it's at lvl 100, it may not be at max stats yet. By battling more opponents (regardless of level) you'll be earning stat exp. After you battle for awhile (awhile as in half an hour to one hour. Don't expect this to work in one minute of time), put it in your box. When you withdraw the Pokemon "awhile" later, the stats will go up because stat exp is taking its roll.

If a Pokemon has max IV, using the box trick should result in meeting up with the species max eventually.

    A few things:

EVs do exist, but they're called STAT exp, and are not subjected to a 510 limit overall, but rather more of a 65525 per stat overall kind of limit.

And by battling for a while, Frosty means battle many pokemon. struggling a mew to death 10 hours later won't do jack.

Protip: Lv 1 pokemon and Lv 100 version of that pokemon give the same statexp. so beating 100 geodudes at lv 5 is better than beating 50 at lv 100, for example.
