[Other] Need help learning to script

ok so i'm understanding the basics at the moment (signs etc) though the offset thing still give me a little confusion.

my real problem comes from where i want the starter to be collected, basically you walk into a cave find some old pokeballs on some rocks and when you take one you a teleported after some text.... how do i set that up?

i'm using advance maps 1.92 and XSE just fyi.

and hacking ruby.... i'll finish putting all the info here eventually.

There are lots of threads for scripting. Assuming you are using XSE, you can use diego's tutorial, or thethethe's. If your script doesn't work then use the script help thread.
