3rd Gen Need help! Please!

    Alright, the thing is, I started a new game in Ruby version, after leaving it for a while to play Leaf Green. I have a new team and everything! I just arrived in Mauville/Verdanturf and, after competing in a few contests and battling all of the trainers around the area, I decided to challenge Wattson (the Gym Leader). Now, I've battled him many times and I can never seem to beat him, and I don't know why! Can someone give me some advice to successfully beat him?

    Team:
    Grovyle Level 20
    Masquerin Level 22
    Kirlia Level 21
    Swellow Level 22
    Electrike Level 21

    What am I doing wrong? Please help people! If you do, I'll give you a cookie! :D

    if you wouldn't mind back tracking a little you could go back and catch a
    shroomish get it to evolve and take him on then, it alone should be
    more than enough to take him out.
    or go back to dewford town for a geodude raise that a bit,
    should be strong enough to take on his pokes by levels 17/18
    it'll be immune to his attacks (excluding sonic boom) and um..well I forgot
    what level it learns magnetude but the move will be more than enough to
    take his entire team out.
    you could also raise u'r Kirlia a little more I forget which level
    it learns Calm Mind but once it does it'll be more than strong enough
    to take out his poke's jsut make sure u have a couple of full heals on you
    to cure any status effects they might use.

    BTW, I checked along Dewford, where exactly can I get a Geodude? If you mean the cave, then I checked that, and all that showed up were Aron, Mawile, Zubat, Makuhita and Abra.
     
    Well Mawile I think is good enough aswell,It is a ground type if im not mistaking and im sure it will be perfect a battle or any other grass/rock type would be perfect!
     
    Geodude are in that cave, you must not have looked on the right floors. If you need help building a team go to GB Strategies and Movesets. On the main forum list, it is right under here.
