Can you use a script to make an NPC encounter a wild pokemon?

use "wildbattle" command if u use XSE

I meant something like in yellow, where the player steps on a certain spot Prof. Oak shows up runs into a Pikachu and catches it.

U have to use vars in that case

any idea on how exactly that can be done, i downloaded a hack somebody was working on but when oak enters the battle it shows the battle of the old man showing you how to catch pokemon
