    okay, i have a problem.
i want to mate either my Croconaw or my Furret with my Ditto.
but neither one of them like Ditto and i REALLY want to hatch a Totodile or a Sentret.

Should i give them time to become friends? Or should i just give up and try to hatch a different Pokemon?

May I ask, what are you trying to get??
I do breeding myself and had no trouble with those 2 with my ditto!!

Well since he's breeding Croconaw and Furret with Ditto, I assume it's a Totodile and Sentret.

When the Daycare man says they don't like each other it means they take longer to produce an egg. So, don't worry, they'll still breed, it'll just take longer.

Indeed - they will still breed - they just take longer on average (actually it's just the chance is lower an egg is made every 256 steps taken but eh) that's because they have the same trainer ID - ie you caught them both - and are different species. Different things get said which correspond to higher rates for them being of the same species and/or caught by different trainers. Only message that means they won't breed is 'they prefer the company of other Pokemon' or the such.

If you have any other questions please ask them in the Help thread sticky at the top of the section. Closed.
