[Tool] Need Help with Editing Pokemon Names

So my romhack of Firered won't allow me to open it in PGE anymore. I have expanded slots for more Pokemon already but I don't know how to add them. With G3HS I'm able to do everything but insert a name. Does anyone know a tool I can use to rename a Pokemon or maybe a way to do it without a tool. Maybe any guides I could be linked to would be amazing.

Grab hex maniac advance, very easy to hex edit names with it if you know where they are

For your question, PGE Probably won't open because the ini still has the old values, just use HexManiacAdvance.

How would I go about finding the names for the Pokemon in this and editing them? I'm not super versed with hex

There's a folder in the Gen 3 Tools folder that has a bunch of .ini text documents. Pick whichever involves your ROM (either BPRE or BPEE) and edit NumberOfPokemon (or NumberOfMons, idk the exact name) to however many Pokémon you will incorporate.
