Alright, my brother needs some help on his deck:

    3-3-3 Machamp ( Storm front)
    3-2 Lucario (call of legends)
2-2-1 Ampharos ( call of legends)
    1 Throh (BW)
    1 Terrakion (sacred sword)
    1 Zapdos ( Next destinies)

    4 Double rainbow Energy
    8 Fighting energy
    5 Electric energy

    4 PONT
    4 Pokemon Communication
    4 Energy Retreival
    4 Cilan
    4 Gust of Wind
    1 Professor Elm

Needs more focus, get rid of some pokemon and add some trainers. any advice on what trainers to add and what pokemon to axe?

Also, He atleast needs 1 other main attacker set to aid machamp, if someone could suggest an amazing addition? I'd be greatful. Thanks

Remove the electric types and focus on the fighting types. Based on what you've described your local matches to be like, the Machamp from Stormfront will sweep the field because of the Take Out attack on it (which will knock out ANY Basic Pokemon, even an EX). Focus on what fighting types do best, which is hit hard. Maybe add in a single Machamp Prime if you can get a hold of one to make the line a 4-3-4 or a 4-4-4 line. And get some Rare Candy if you can. Your focus should be on getting Machamp out as quickly as possible, so focus on Supporters and trainers dedicated to getting it out as fast as possible.

That could work quite well. It was an acceptable alternative to Rare Candy back when both were tournament legal, though it was mostly only included in the event someone had a PokeBody on the field that blocked Trainers/Items so that Rare Candy couldn't be used. It's biggest drawback is that your opponent can benefit from it.

That's true. But, most people we play against only have a couple 2-3 stage runs, and even at that, they are not there most powerful cards.

That Lucario doesn't seem to be much help in this deck because one of it's attacks, Dimension Sphere, need's Pokémon in the Lost Zone. To boost that, I would add in a few Mew Prime and/or Absol Prime. Mew Prime can also use the attacks of the Lost Zoned Pokémon, and Absol's attack does 70 damage aside from putting Pokémon into the Lost Zone. If you are using it's other attack, Sky Uppercut, I would add some Hippowdon (Noble Victories) or Beartic (Emerging Powers, with Sheer Cold and that other attack). I'd recommend Hippowdon just because this is a fighting type deck. And I also agree with donavannj. Take out the lightning types, they won't help this deck. What does Throh do? I'm not sure if it has some ability that would help.

Primes? Yeah. No. Those are expensive. No thanks. He does have some Hippowdon.

Throh does a 30 damage that switches the opponents pokemon, and an 80 one that isnt effected by resistance.

So what should I put in then since the lucarios and lightning dont help?

Yeah its hard to find ones that I like. Maybe just Terrakion. And a different element that would help along machamp or something. :p I'll keep looking but suggestions are always welcome.

Yeah, theyre mostly expensive retreat pokemon. good tip. Hmm. Still need some pokemon though. Maybe throw in Zekrom?
