6th Gen Need Help With Pokerus and More

    Hi everyone,

    I'm fairly new to Pokémon, with Pokémon Y being my first ever game. I've fallen completely in love with them, but would love to start learning some of the deeper aspects of the series.

    I taught myself how to breed shiny pokemon, and how to check IVs, but that's pretty much all I know beyond basic gameplay.

    I was recently informed in game that my pokemon have been infected with pokerus...I have heard that this is a very rare and good thing, but I don't really know how to make the most of it. I also don't know much about EVs, Super Training, egg moves, nature's, etc.

    What is the best resource for learning all of these things, and what do I start with? It's all a bit overwhelming to a new player.

    Along with above post, one tip I could give is to save a virus-infected Pokemon in your PC for future uses, and perhaps an extra for additional measure.

    Any tips on where I can also read up on this stuff? For when I'm not on wifi and cant watch videos much.
