Need Help with Red

    Hey guys. I have been having problems with trying to beat Red. In my first battle against him, I OHKOed his pikachu, but then the rest of his guys creamed me.

    Here's my team:

    Dragonite lv. 74

    Thunder PUnch
    Fly
    Aqua Tail
    Outrage


    Lugia lv. 71

    Aeroblast
    Punishment
    AncientPower
    Surf


    Mewtwo lv. 71

    Pyscho Cut
    Amnesia
    Power Swap
    Psychic


    Rhyperior lv. 56

    Stone Edge
    Avalanche
    Earthquake
    Hammer Arm


    Snorlax lv. 50 (HM Slave)

    Rock Smash
    Rock Climb
    Crunch
    Giga Impact


    Kingdra lv. 61

    Dragon Pulse
    Waterfall
    Hydro Pump
    Dragon Dance


    Any good places to train my pokemon efficiantly? Thanks for the help.
     
    Your Rhypherior needs some Lv. Up. IMO, you should watch the clock and call some Gym Leaders for training.
    Good team overall for Red. More detailed, which Pokemon of Red creams which of your Pokemon ? I'd be glad to help if ya give me this info ! :)
     
    Give Mewtwo Calm Mind so it can soak up hits and then dish them out like WHAM. and give it another typed move. Ice Beam? =|
     
    Mewtwo has a decent Sp. Def and a massive speed. All you need is one Calm Mind and you should be able to tank special hits like those Pikachu dishes out like a beast. Absorb them and continue Calm Minding, using potions when necessary, before completely ripping his team with Beam + Psychic.

    And get a Life Orb from the Battle Frontier for total pwnage.

    Firstly, train EVERY pokemon of yours to atleast level 75. Train at Mt. Silver, rebattle the E4 or rebattle the leaders.

    At lv 75, you can cream Red with the right movesets. Pikachu gets OHKOd by Rhyperior's Earthquake.

    Teach Mewtwo Thunderbolt. Your Mewtwo should have a moveset of:

    Calm Mind or something
    Psychic
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt.

    Next is Lapras. Use Calm Mind once and then kill it with Thunderbolt.

    Then is Snorlax. Hammer Arm from Rhyperior could take care of it or Dragonite's Outrage or Kingdra's Dragon Danced Waterfalls could take advantage of Snorlax's weak physical defense.

    Now, Mewtwo can probably kill off Red.
    Against Venusaur, just Calm Mind once or twice and then Psychic it or Ice Beam it.

    Charizard and Blastoise don't like Calm Minded Thunderbolts. Mewtwo can take care of 4/6 of Red's team. Rhyperior takes care of the rest aka Pikachu and Snorlax. Just hope that after Pikachu Red sends out Snorlax so after Rhyperior kills Pikachu and Snorlax, you just have to Calm Mind twice and then sweep.
