Need help with Team in Silver

Ok, here's my Silver team. The reason my movesets are teh sucky is because I just started playing and don't have access to any way of duplicating TMs or trading back to RBY to get good moves. That, and I just started breeding and am currently trying to get Drill Peck on a Skarmory (I breeded my Skarmory with a Dodrio and they're both at the Daycare). Anyway, as of now, this is what I have. If you guys have helpful hints for movesets and changing Pokemon they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Flareon @Spell Tag/Quick Claw
    Flamethrower
    Quick Attack
    Bite
    Shadow Ball

Ok...I'm thinking of replacing Quick Attack with Return once I get him to full happiness. I won't get rid of Shadow Ball since I don't want to waste that great TM, and Flareon's attack is high enough for it to actually kill something with it. Besides, no Pokemon that receives STAB for Shadow Ball can actually hit something without getting laughed at (I am aware of Bannette's existence but this is a Silver Team I need to improve). Bite is there so maybe he can get a flinching chance, but it's slim considering his speed which is why I added Quick Claw. Meh. It's a filler move until I find something better. I have no way of trading back to RBY to get Reflect on him, so that's out of the window...

    Lapras @Leftovers
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Confuse Ray
    Body Slam

Seems to work very well. I was thinking of making him a Double Rester but that is so...yawn. I was thinking of giving her Ice Beam/Double Team/Confuse Ray/Rest OR Ice Beam/Attract/Confuse Ray/Double Team.

    Victreebel @Miracle Seed/Poison Barb
    Razor Leaf
    Flash (I'm ashamed of it)
    Sludge Bomb
    Sleep Powder

I don't have many options for this guy. I can't get Swords Dance on him as of now...but if I can breed the move unto a Bellsprout I would grealty appreciate knowing how. For breeding, I was thinking Synthesis, too. An alternate option for Victreebel is Ampharos:

    Ampharos
    Thunder
    Thunder Wave
    Light Screen
    Thunderpunch

Horrible. Very horrible. I don't even have access to the move tutor so Thunderbolt is out of the question (unless of course I breed...). In that case I would go with Thunderbolt/Thunder Wave/Fire Punch/Safeguard or something like that.

    Poliwrath
    Mind Reader
    Dynamicpunch
    Surf
    Rain Dance

He's my Houndoom/Tyranitar killer. Those guys can never seem to hurt him despite his lackluster speed. I was thinking of Mind Reader/Fissure/Whirlpool/Filler Move, but again, I don't have access to Fissure as of now.

    Tyranitar
    Crunch
    Rock Slide
    Fire Blast
    Earthquake

Yawn. Predictable. He has nothing to handle Water types so I get out and let them face Ampharos/Victreebel.

    Dragonite @Leftovers
    Wing Attack
    Safeguard
    Blizzard
    Thunder Wave

It does well with Thunder Wave and Safeguard. Blizzard's horrible accuracy I admit doesn't really help, but it always seems to hit when I need it to, anyway.

Again, it's a n00b team mostly because the only link cable I had belongd to my cousin who doesn't live anywhere near me, which prevents me from going back to RBY and getting good TMs like Reflect and Swords Dance, and prevents me from going to Crystal to get the move tutor to give me something like Thunderbolt.

BTW, if anyone has ideas for changing Pokemon, I will most certainly consider them as this current team bores me to death with common Pokemon. I was thinking Skarmory (also common but nonetheless fun) with Curse/Drill Peck/Steel Wing/Sandstorm, Return, or Swagger. Any other Pokemon you would think would work better will be considered. I notice I am missing a Baton Passer/Hazer, Pseudo Passer/Hazer, so those would help, too. I was just lucky enough to run into Suicune this morning so I caught it and am curious if he could work as a Pseudo Hazer. I also have an Umbreon which is very annoying.

    Flareon @Quick Claw/Leftovers/Miracle Berry
    Flamethrower/Fire Blast
    Quick Attack
    Curse

    Confurse Ray/Sleep Talk
    Body Slam/Surf/Ice Beam
    Surf/Ice Beam
    Rest

    Victreebel@Leftovers
    Sleep Powder
    Sludge Bomb
    Synthesis
    Return (?)

    Ampharos@Leftovers
    Thunder Wave
    Light Screen
    Thunderpunch/Thunderbolt
    Fire Punch

    Poliwrath@Leftovers
    Mind Reader

    Flamethrower/Thunderbolt
    Rockslide

    Dragonite@Leftovers
    Safegaurd

    Flamethrower/Thunderbolt/Ice beam

I just got a lv. 5 Skarmory from the Day-Care and it knows Drill Peck. This thing is tough. It battled a level 24 Weepinbell and won. That gained it enough exp. to get to level 11. This thing is gonna be fun....

Then again, Skarmory can battle anything so long as it doesn't face Fire or Electric...but who finds THAT in the wild??

what's this breeding I hear about? How do you breed a move onto a pokemon!? PM me please.

Also, looks like a good team, I like Rapidash better then Flareon, because it's overall better, but flareon is okay.
