Need help with these!!

Hey guys I just bread a couple of chimchars, and well I checked the Iv, and for the first one I got this:

atk=12 - 31
def=0 - 31
sp.atk=12 - 31
sp.def=0 - 11
spd=0 - 31

Yeah I'm kinda new to breeding and IV's so I'm not sure if those are good iv's.
Even though I have got about 60 or so hatched Pokemon.

Also I just hatched this shiny piplup with these stats:

everything is = 0 - 31
except speed it is - 0 - 19

Are those good.

depends on what you're looking for....

If you're using Infernape as a physical or special sweeper, go for the highest IVs of that respective attack and speed, since that's what really matters on him... if you're going for mixed sweeping, try and go for as high IVs as you can for Atk.SpAtk and Spd... and it never hurts to get good IVs in HP or Defenses, but seeing how up to 4 good IVs can carry over to the next generation... it's your call on what you're looking for.

Don't check IVs at level 1. You'll get 0-31 in most cases.
(If you do level it up, keep track of EVs.)

You'll need it around Lv50 to calculate IVs correctly but the best is to do an IV battle. You battle with them at Lv100 through Wi-Fi, you write their IVs, and then just stop the battle.

I write their Iv's and then?
Also can I perhaps do this method with LV 1 Pokemon? and get accurate IV values?
