Hi guys kinda new to the forum and also kinda of a newbie. I have just finish elite 4 and capture a latias on my black 2 so i went to the judge and it says above average stats and fantastic in hp and speed. Its nature is timid should i keep it or opt for better? I kinda of a perfectionist lol

If you're shooting for perfect IVs and a competitive nature, I suggest soft-resetting and using a Pokemon with Synchronize that has the nature you want.

Adding onto what Emboar said, if you're looking for a good Synchronize user (assuming you do plan to try for a better nature), Elgyem would make a good candidate and they can be easily caught in Celestial Tower so you can just catch a few until you get a variety of natures among them. Munna is another option, but unlike Elgyem you can't catch it until postgame. Also be mindful both Munna and Elgyem have an ability besides Synchronize so it's recommended you try to inflict a status condition on them to see if it has the ability or not before you catch it.

(oh and btw Latios is encountered in Black 2, Latias is in White 2)

Hello and thank you for the kind input. I was wondering which pokemon has synchronise ability other than ralts! Thnx for the heads up. Plus may i know in detail which nature and stats in terms of iv should i go for in latios? I know that iv is base on luck but considering that the one i captured is good (if i not mistaken) should i soft reset for a better one still?

Competitive sets for Latios tend to run Timid nature (since I recall it does need the speed boost to have an edge) so the one you caught is actually very good in regards to speed. I'd say you should keep it if you want to.
