    About me

Well I made the same thread (RMT) on Smogon but their RMT threads are very dead and no one is very helpful. I'm very open to criticism and as long as I can get decent information I'm a quick learner. I've always been a bit intimidated by competitive battling, mostly because I'm bad with math and numbers, which takes a toll on my stats and EVs. But when X&Y came out I really wanted to try! I have some decently strong Pokemon that can at least take out a couple mons like my Absol and Pryroar which gave me some confidence in the Battle Spot, where I've done pretty well in. (Where I use 3 Pokemon, Pryroar, Marowak and Absol.)

    About my teams development

    - SO, I do have 6 Pokemon I decided on luckily. But if any changes need to made I'm pretty open. I'm best with ghost psychic and darks so I usually need at least one of those in my team for I find Sp.Atk moves much more powerful and those types are super effective towards commonly used types.

    - My pokemons EVs are very estimated. Is that too much of a problem? I'm judging by vitamins and super training. I never battled for EVs before, I spend all my money on vitamins.

    - I fail to know most competitive battling terminology and slang, be gentle. o-o

    - You'll probably notice that I don't use over used pokemon, in fact I use rarely used Pokemon. That's because I like being different. But I'll make any necessary changes of course.

    - I value Sp.Def, I don't know why but it's hard to come by in Pokemon.

    - I do realize that some of these Pokemon may have to totally be replaced

My current idea of a team

    Absol @ Rocky Helmet
    Trait: Super Luck
    EVs: Atk 60, Spe 30, Sp.Def 20
    In all--- Atk 169, Def 95, Ap.Atk 112, Sp.Def 108, Spe 139.
    Nature: Timid
    ~ Night Slash
    ~ Psycho Cut
    ~ Thunderwave
    ~ Swords Dance
    - Absol is the first mon because he can take a couple hits but "sweep" out some mons with attack in the beginning of the battle (With my random match up experience) Before he dies his rocky helmet can sometimes finish off his opponent that may have killed him. I would love to keep the absol I already have, it would mean quite a bit. He can definitely get more EVs at this point. -

Note that some of your Pokemon's moves aren't legal till Poke Bank is released, which I'll highlight below:

Timid is a terrible nature for Absol to have because it wastes away its excellent Attack, which is one of the main reasons to even use it. It's too frail to go on the supporting end of things, and it's better off on the offensive end, utilizing its Mega Evolution to avoid being statused with Magic Bounce (note that Magic Bounce replaces Absol's original ability when it Mega Evolves):
    -Sucker Punch
    -Night Slash/Pursuit
    -Play Rough
    -Fire Blast
    Nature: Naive
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Absolite
    Ability: Super Luck

    or
    -Swords Dance
    -Sucker Punch/Night Slash
    -Play Rough
    -Fire Blast
    Nature: Naive
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Absolite
    Ability: Super Luck

Like Absol, Timid is a terrible nature for Marowak to have. I'm not sure how it fares in the X/Y meta, but here goes:
    -Earthquake/Bonemerang
    -Stone Edge
    -Double-Edge
    -Swords Dance/Substitute
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 200 HP/252 Atk/56 Spe
    Item: Thick Club
    Ability: Rock Head

Wish isn't legal on Hypno yet because it's an event move and those aren't legal till Poke Bank is released. Even then, there are a lot better Psychic Pokemon out there, like Slowbro and Starmie:

    Slowbro:
    -Scald
    -Psyshock/Fire Blast
    -Thunder Wave/Toxic
    -Slack Off
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 248 HP/244 Def/16 SAtk
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Regenerator

    Starmie:
    -Hydro Pump/Surf
    -Thunderbolt/Psyshock
    -Ice Beam
-Rapid Spin (clears away opposing entry hazards)
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure

    or
    -Scald
    -Rapid Spin
    -Psyshock/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt
    -Recover
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 248 HP/32 Def/4 SAtk/224 Spe
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure

Trick isn't legal on Chandelure till Poke Bank. Make do with Energy Ball in the last slot.

I know that you want to keep this Pyroar relatively the same, but Attract is an unreliable move to use because the target can switch out to negate its effects, plus it's useless against same-gendered 'mons. Pyroar is a terrible Pokemon in general; its abilities are relatively useless competitively (Moxie is useless because Pyroar is a Special attacker) and it has a shallow move pool. Here's the best it can do:
    -Fire Blast
    -Hyper Voice
    -Hidden Power (Fighting)
    -Will-o-Wisp/Taunt
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Unnerve

If you need a Pokemon that takes special hits like a champ, try out Assault Vest Goodra:
    -Draco Meteor
    -Fire Blast/Flamethrower
    -Dragon Tail/Power Whip
    -Focus Blast/Sludge Bomb
    Nature: Quiet/Sassy
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SAtk
    Item: Assault Vest
    Ability: Gooey/Sap Sipper

Alright, since I need a couple walls ill switch marowak for gliscor and blissey for hypno. That will take care of sp.def and def. How does that sound? Also, I already have chandelure of sp.atks so I think haxorus will make a good addition in replacement to pryroar.. I really don't need more than one fire type in my team, too much of a water weakness. Especially since I would like to be able to take out gyrodos in the OU at least. Correct me if I'm wrong. And ill take care of the absol in the team too.

I think you mean switching Hypno for Blissey. Gliscor and Blissey cover each other well:
    Blissey:
    -Aromatherapy
    -Seismic Toss/Flamethrower
    -Softboiled
    -Toxic
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Def/252 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure

    Gliscor:
    -Earthquake
    -Toxic
    -Protect
    -Substitute/Taunt
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 244 HP/248 Def/16 Spe
    Item: Toxic Orb
    Ability: Poison Heal

    or
    -Earthquake
    -U-turn
    -Taunt
    -Protect/Toxic/Ice Fang
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 244 HP/248 Def/16 Spe
    Item: Toxic Orb
    Ability: Poison Heal

    or
    -Substitute
    -Baton Pass
    -Earthquake
    -Taunt/Swords Dance/Agility/Rock Polish
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 244 HP/248 Def/16 Spe
    Item: Toxic Orb
    Ability: Poison Heal

Haxorus is a decent addition to the team, but it shares a Fairy weakness with Absol, so you need to be careful of that:
    -Dragon Dance/Swords Dance
    -Outrage/Dragon Claw
    -Earthquake
    -Poison Jab
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 120 HP/252 Atk/136 Spe
    Item: Lum Berry

Will do, already training the Blissey.

    But, on the Gliscor do you think adding Roost would be a good derision? I work very well with HP replenishing moves.. Perhaps this;
    Gliscor:
    -Earthquake
    -Toxic
    -Protect
    -Roost
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 244 HP/248 Def/16 Spe
    Item: Toxic Orb
    Ability: Poison Heal

Between toxic, roost and protect I believe it will make for good walling.

Protect gives Gliscor enough healing by stalling for a turn for Toxic damage and Poison Heal recovery.
