    For a little bit of a ...backstory? I guess. I had bought Heart Gold not too long before the Three Legendary Beasts event from gamestop. So, I had planned my team more or less to include all three of the beasts. I had forgotten about Ho-oh at this time. Currently my team consists of

    Entei
    Raikou
    Miltank
    Scizor
    Noctowl
    Gengar

    Eventually I plan to replace Noctowl with Suicune. That's not really what I'm aiming to ask here. What I'd like opinions/help with is Entei. If I were to bring in Ho-oh, entei is the only viable switch in I could think of. Here are the final movesets I'd want on each - may help you understand my dilemma.

    Ho-Oh:
    Sacred Fire
    Brave Bird
    Earthquake
    Roost

    Entei:
    Fire Fang
    Stone Edge
    Return
    Toxic/Iron Head

    Thanks for any input offered.

    Yes, that is a very smart move, replace Entei with Ho-Oh! That is a definite must!

    Definetly keep Entei. I'll also be nice and give you a moveset:

    -Flare Blitz
    -ExtremeSpeed
    -Stone Edge
    -Stomp/Iron Head

    Since the shiny Entei comes with an Adamant nature, you'll want phyiscal attacks. Flare Blitz is your best STAB, and Extremespeed for Priority. Stone Edge and Iron Head work for better coverage.

    allright then it depends on noctowl if u replace noctowl get ho oh but if u were to replace the scizor(sounds bad i kno) u can have entei. see if u keep noctowl u can get entei cause u dont need a flying type. but if u do, u need a flying type, so get ho oh.you think about it again and see wat u come 2

    @Erufuun:
    Thanks for the advice xD ~ I'm still stuck on this stupid subject. A team with raikou and suicune missing entei seems...odd. But ho-oh would be nice for type coverage and his insane amounts of stats...and since I don't really do any battling besides with friends it wouldn't be all that bad. Just not sure about using a legendary since it's banned in a lot of the rules and what not. ._.

    @Jab2033:
    What advantage does entei have over Ho-Oh? It's really difficult for me to decide because I feel they are both good additions, just not ideal to have both on the team. asdfg ~ I hate all this thinking - I miss the old days when I'd pick teams basically on what pokemon i liked lol.

    @Ghostrk9:
    You make a valid point with losing a flying type, Noctowl was pretty decent at times. I hate my indecisiveness. When I think about this stupid issue I just get frustrated with the fact that I can't decide. <_<

    again wats better scizor or noctowl.getting rid of gengar is insane!
    ok well, scizor bug/steel type. noctowl psychic/flying type.
    bug is just not that good replace scizor.get entei

    Depends on whatcha want.... Entei is pretty good physically, and serves as a fast mixed sweeper aswell,looks cooler too:)

    Ho-oh is just cheap to me. He is really good in all stats except speed, which would lead you to probably want a Jolly nature.

    I say keep Entei, thats because I like him, and hes not as cheap.
