So I finally got into the RU scene and so far it has easily been my favorite tier with the wide range of mons and the lack of megas. Overall I've had some pretty decent success (thanks Minior) but I keep running into the same problems. Right now, Dark types (Like Umbreon, Incineroar and Liepard) and Water types (like any that are somewhat bulky) cause a lot of problems for me since Hitmonlee and Whimsicott are my only checks to those Pokemon and well thats pretty easy for the opponent to play around especially when my main way of winning is a Minior sweep.

Below is my team. The only two I for sure want to keep are Minior and Uxie as those have been my two MVPs. Whimsicott and Zoroark would be nice to keep as well but maybe slightly different movesets?

I appreciate any and all help!

P.S. my playstyle tends towards HO/status inducing

Iron Man (Silvally-Steel) @ Steel Memory
    Ability: RKS System
    EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Multi-Attack
    - Parting Shot

    - Shadow Claw

    The Jester (Whimsicott) (F) @ Darkinium Z
    Ability: Prankster
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Giga Drain
    - Memento
    - Tailwind
    - Encore

Where's my nose? (Hitmonlee) @ Assault Vest
    Ability: Limber
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Rapid Spin
    - Fake Out
    - Poison Jab
    - High Jump Kick

    Sleepy Fairy (Uxie) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 20 SpA / 236 SpD
    Calm Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Psychic
    - Toxic
    - U-turn

As a frail offensive Pokemon, Hitmonlee would rather have the extra power of Life Orb over the increased special bulk of Assault Vest, despite its rather good Special Defense.

Have you tried Specs/Swords Dance Zoroark?:
    -Dark Pulse
    -Focus Blast
    -Sludge Bomb
    -U-turn
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Specs

    or
    -Swords Dance
    -Knock Off
    -Sucker Punch
    -Low Kick
    Nature: Jolly/Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb

Consider Moonblast and max Special Attack/max Speed on Whimsicott so it can actually threaten Dark Pokemon:
    -Giga Drain/Energy Ball
    -Moonblast
    -Encore
    -Memento
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Darkinium Z
    Ability: Prankster

Also, something to consider to compress Silvally's and Whimsicott's roles is Alolan Persian, which can use Z-Parting Shot to also fully heal the switch-in in addition to the stat debuff. Of course, this means finding another Fairy Pokemon to use:
    -Foul Play
    -Parting Shot
    -Taunt
    -Toxic
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Darkinium Z
    Ability: Fur Coat

Minior is interesting because its stats are pretty underwhelming even for a user of Shell Smash. If you are going to use Minior, you have to pair with something that can handle the majority of its checks. Think things that can handle bulky waters, bulky Steel types, common priority users and powerful wallbreakers. Minior isn't powerful enough in its meteor form, even boosted, to KO a lot of threats in the tier even with super effective coverage or unresisted STAB moves.

Honestly if you want a Shell Smash sweeper I would consider Cloyster. It has more balanced stats, more powerful attacks due to Skill Link, Explosion, and access to priority. I honestly don't think Minior is very effective in this metagame. If you do use it, be careful not to overestimate its bulk in its meteor form, as it can still be easily KO'd by powerful wallbreakers like Tyrantrum, Drampa, Goodra, etc., or at least brought down to KO range of common priority users like Honchkrow, Lycanroc and Bruxish.

Also, Hitmonlee is not a great offensive spinner in RU. There are a number of better offensive spinners including Donphan, Dhelmise or even Kabutops, though Kabutops would probably synergize poorly with this team. You could also consider Hitmontop, which is more defensive but a much more reliable spinner than Hitmonlee.

I can't help but to feel Uxie is out of place here. Sure, it's a pretty safe hazard setter and toxic + u-turn support is nice, but I think those roles(at least the Stealth Rocks role) could be compressed into another Pokemon leaving you with an extra slot for another offensive Pokemon. You could have Kabutops not only play a role as a spinner, but also a rocks setter. It would fit well within this team I think.
