The picture is "Ash's point of view". Soara said so in his comment. (I'm getting better at reading Japanese ^_^)
I think the Hikari and Ayako picture was really well done. It was just so professional. This picture isn't as fancy but I like how the background was done.

And I agree with you on that about the one with Hikari & her Mom looking professional!!

I just went to the oekaki forum for the first time in a while, and I noticed that on this one, Soara also made two variants of it. Apparently, he was conflicted in thinking whether the white panties would look best on her, so he also made a *link removed* and *link removed* version. I don't know why you have the pink version linked, though, seeing as Soara posted the white one on the board.
 
well, today Soara updated with some new Pokemon icons. I find this update particularly noteworthy because among the icons, aside from an update to ole' Mr. "F*** Yeah!" Meme XD, there's an Irochigai (Different-colored) Naetle. With any luck, this is a sign that Soara's finally gonna make Irochigai icons of the rest of the DP Pokemon, rather than being a random addition like that Palkia he did a while back (the difference here is that Naetle's the first on the list, thus a good possibility he'll continue doing the rest in consecutive order).

I was actually gonna request Ayame myself, especially after Soara so thoughtlessly put her way in the background with her view mostly blocked off by Botan in the latest summer pic. T_T Don't really care for Aya (Anzu's much better and it ticks me off that Aya comes out of nowhere to take what should've been her Jouto appearance), and exactly which Mii? The adult version, I hope. ^^

So, did he specify any guidelines for pic-requesting? Namely the limit? What's his e-mail, BTW?
