Soara is a god with characters he likes. However, the way he drew Cassidy, and Ash+Shinji in that one 4koma, I could draw better than that!
Seriously, in one panel of that 4koma, Ash looked more deformed than Kinoshita could do.
I wonder if I'm beginning to like Pokesho a bit less. O_o

you know, in the zukan thingie where he does all the characters. She also appears in the Ditto party game.
I know he doesn't really care for her but Richie (who I doubt he cares about much either) came out very good.

I can't say I know the extent of your artistic abilities, but Soara draws all of the characters (including Ash, Cassidy, and Paul) just like the official video game, anime, and manga art styles (with some... [ahem] "enhancements" to most of the females). I think you're just letting your fangirl bias get in the way of your judgement. :P

It's not that. I'm very experienced in art and I'm also a perfectionist. Soara's art is usually pretty perfect though, but because it isn't sometimes, I notice.
I cant really explain. In fact, I have a problem stating reasons for things I need to prove like like the difference between anime and cartoons. I try but fail.

Shinji, Cassidy and a few other characters have errors/deformations in their pictures. I dont know whether the artist was lazy or whether he overlooked it and it was a real mistake.

And I dont have a fangirl bias, I'm just experienced in art and have an artistic eye
I'm actually known to be rather unbiased when rating people's art. If someone drew a gorgeous picture of a character I hate, I'll still love it and praise the artist.

It's kinda funny, as I just saw the episode where Paul faced off against Cynthia the other day (afterwards, she treated his Torterra).
 
Haha, I'm quite content with these mass of Cynthia pictures, so I hope he does more, though you're not the only one who thinks she looks a bit off in the latest picture.... I like the previous one a bit more since it was more spot on.
 
In that weird Shirona picture, I notice she has an abnormally big cameltoe
I also dislike it when he tries to make parts of his pictures soft-shaded (like the legs) and ends up leaving obvious paint strokes instead of just bluring it. Sure the stroked look looks good on scenery like wood but on objects that are smooth.....

btw, Yamato-san? Could you translate Soara's comment? He did a dialogue involving Shinji and Shirona.

(this is in direct reference to the Unown tablet)

Shinji: "In order to activate an event flag for Mikaruge to appear, one must meet with the lives of 32 people in the underground passages."

So Soara thinks that Shinji's about as interested in getting laid as Satoshi is.... if I were in Shinji's shoes, I sure as hell wouldn't blow a chance with the second best chick introduced in the 4th generation (only after Momi-tan ^^). On the other hand, I probably wouldn't blame the guy if he was using such a blunt answer to by-pass what sounded like a plea for child conception.

Erm, I meant the drawing style is similar. The coloring style is sometimes different from official works (usually more depth to the shading).

Indeed, Soara's pictures are awesome, and I too like the CG images!!
