new top pic. It appears to feature Erika with a Hinamatsuri doll set with most of the legendaries (oddly enough, it doesn't seem to feature any of the trio legendaries or promotionals sans Emrit and Darkrai).

actually, that's the third time he updated it this week. Earlier, he added Sumomo and updated Hikari's bio.

dear god, what kind of coloring techniques does this guy use? Blue-tan actually looks like she's wearing see-through lingerie. ^^ Shizue from the recent episode is nice too. She had some pretty eye-magnetizing nylon, so good for Soara on emphasizing that.

Since I do and study cg anime pictures a lot (one of my favorite hobbies is going on 4chan and collecting illustrations pertaining to a certain art style I love), I can safely say that I think he does the underwear on a separate layer from the trim and makes it partly transparent. I've done it once or twice.
I admire the detail on the frill. That takes patience.

Shinji asked me to come post here btw, he doesn't really do cg like I do so he doesn't really know the tricks. He's more into cel-shading. I'll try to get him into cg though.
 
oh right.... layer transparency. I'm familiar with it, but it slipped my mind. Wait, if Soara colored that on a separate layer, then that'd mean.... he's got a pic.... of Blue.... without....

Times like this you'd wish he still used the oekaki system, so we could get the underwear-less Blue from it.
I wonder if Soara will go back to using ShiPainter someday...

CC: Okay, Shinji's worked up now. He's now convinced that Soara hates him. First he showed me the portrait, which I do agree was poorly tinted, but he knows I have like a master's degree in Pokesho editting so I could fix it up for him. He gets worked up over such dumb things anyway. He also showed me Soara's other Shinji drawings and told me that it looked like Kinoshita drew them. I agreed but I also told him that Soara's main interest is girls and their boobs.
The thing is, even though I dont have interest in certain characters, when I draw them, I like to draw them accurate. Do you think Soara is perhaps.... lazy in that aspect?

this is gonna be a long night. I hope Shinji doesn't start getting tsundere with Pokesho like I have or else we'll have to find someone else to take my place at the club... like Cassidy.

btw, Yamato-san, that picture in your post made my day. Shinji liked it too, told me to print out the screencap.

I've noticed that Soara is starting to change some of the shading from his previous icons, oakaki, and other drawings.

Aside from one or two icons and a portrait, why do you think so?
Soara has multiple styles just like I have. He does from pixel art (rare) to cel-shading to super smooth and at one time, 3d but that's another class.
btw, guys, I found out why I've been acting so funky with this club, having Shinji come post here
I'm tsundere for Pokesho like /a/ is tsundere for Lucky Star.
Shinji's still gonna post here a lot of course but just saying, I'll drop by now and then to say important things.
Just wanted to clear that up.
