Well actually the original Platinum sprite is in that exact same pose so he just traced it, enlarged it and added some frames to make it smoother.

Spriting takes patience but it isn't that tough.

Btw guys, now and then when I look at his art, some of it makes me wonder if he's trying to advertise Nintendo products. In that Christmas picture, someone is delivering a Wii and there are only like two Pokemon games for the Wii. And for some reason I can see a bit of advertising in the front picture because Hikari is in her new outfit.

Just something that bugs me sometimes.
 
Or he could just be drawing her in her new outfit, like he did with May. =P

Only explains one picture though.

I wonder what program Soara uses. I used to think Photoshop because he said it but then he started talking about Paint Tool Sai which is really popular with the Japanese art community (being a Japanese program and all) and his work looks like it could be made in the program.

I hope it is because I use it and maybe he could make some tutorials.

Or my dream-come true; a youtube quality in HD on him making one of his pictures. OMG
A girl can dream, can't she?

The scenes of Candice, yes. The panty shots, no. Basically, Soara made the pics as a "If they did" show them in the Pokemon anime apparently (but this is just speculation on my part).

I don't have much of an opinion on the new girl in HG/SS right now. I would have loved to see Crys come back, but I won't bash this new girl till i see more Sugimori artwork of her. I didn't really dig Lucas untill I saw more of him and used him in the game so we'll see.

well hey now i didnt mean to come across as a mega perv or anything. i guess i just came in at the wrong time? i check the website like everyday for updates but seeing as how i dont read japanese that well (at all) i looked for a thread relating to it. I love Soara's work cuz i think it's awesome how he can make his art look so authentic. sorry guys i didnt mean to sound that bad :(

But if you come saying "Hey, I like this club and I wanna join... can I have the H- pics?" well, it sounds like you don't really care about soara and his art... man, I fell guilty for talking about the H-pics. I'm really sorry

I got a few CG's but only like 7 only 2 which are special one's and not just character portaits, you guy's want me to just upload those for now and upload more when they come?

There's also some of Kadabra, That guy from G/S Elite 4, Rowan, Dawns mom, Geodud and a Bibarel Cockroach you want them too?

yeah i understand and i'm sorry. that wasnt my reason for asking to join tho. i really love soara's work cuz it amazes me that he can imitate Sugimori's art styles, both old and new, as well as the style used in the anime, and make his own creative pieces with both. i also love how he can alter pictures directly form the anime and yet make them look authentic (ex. the earlier mentioned candice shots) so again, i'm sorry guys for seeming like i have messed up intentions. i'd appreciate it if i could still join.

btw, i am NOT a suck up. lol promise =D

Appology accept it. I think what you said is pretty honest and I respect you for that. What it is that, I'm just sick and tired of people joining here and only did like one or two posts so they can have access to those secret hentai pictures. So I'll let you join in. :)
