And why is that? With curse boost it should be considered
 
Cloyster won't like Fire Blasts from Mence and the main reason for Swampert to have Ice Beam is for that and to have something to hit Claydol with on the switch in.
Rock Slide only helps beating Gyarados and he has plenty counters already.
 
Lol. Magneton and Rakiou just a few of them. Rock Slide can be useful in some ways like against Charizard.
 
QuakeSlide has its uses. I don't know many things that resist besides Flygon and Gligar and maybe a couple of other Pokemon :\
 
Gligar doesn't resist Quakslide. Only Claydol and Flygon do. Quakeslide has its uses, just not on Pert.

I'm a bit late, but on a non-Exploding, Cloyster, 4 SDef EVs lets it survive 3 Fire Blasts from Mence iirc, which I'm sure it shrug off a portion of the damage later.
 
Justy curious, what's Cloyster base Special Defense? I bet its like 60. :\
 
no, it has 45 Base Sp. Defence
 
Lol. That really stinks. I didn't know it was that bad. :\

Anyway, that's probably why I never use Cloyster. :)
