"Who is Van Ash? I don't get what you mean." I heard the guards throw her something. "Hey, what is it? Did you get something to write with? Come on, there is no other way out except to die here, eventually. So let's make the next, uhh, possibly 60 years of your life interesting, not being depressed, ok? It hurts to have bad feelings. Look on the bright side.." I stopped. I may have understood Vanessa now. Her life was perfect, unlike me. She had everything before she came here, also unlike me. It was right for her to be so cold, wasen't it..?

"Hmm.Maybe we could wade through?either that or we could float it."I said.I followed after him toward the river.it wasn't a big river, but it wasn't a small river either.

"Van Ash is my pen name...The one who truely wrote my stories."

Vanessa stands up as she hears the last of what Cassandra said. In a low growl, she replies: "I will NOT die in here. I will not spend the rest of this life in this cube! I can be how ever the h*ll I wanna be, you cannot tell me how to keep my emotions!"

Calming down slightly, the woman continues. "All I got was a stupid piece of glass..." She stands up, her face wet with tears. Growling at herself, she pounds the wall with her fist, before falling backwards, onto her bum. She whispers to herself, "I will not die in here...Vanessa will not die in here..."

Whatever was the problem with her? Dosen't matter. I sat down on the bare floor and started to knit a pattern. I turned by back to the guards, considering the fact that I could get badly beaten if they discovered I snuck stuff in with me. It was a heart. I wanted to die here. I thought as I ripped it in half with all my might. Far from my fears and sorrows, where I can be happy. I thought of asking the guards that I considered working for Huryn. What will Vanessa think of me? I didn't want her to think of me in a bad way. I decided to bring that up when she calmed down. Besides, what better can you do? Pretend to work for him and escape that way. It will be esier, since there are no bars and chains for his employees. Just a room with a window to break and jump out of...

"good idea Noh well I can't say I thought of that,"Steve said walking closer to the water,"but remember that there are very skilled and dangerous creatures in this river, and their skills surpass ours, by we should be able to make it..."

Laying on her side, Vanessa twists a lock of hair around her finger. She stares out the door, watching the guard pace past her cell, back-and-forth, back-and-forth...It made her dizzy.

Whispering, Vanessa moves towards the wall, "I'm sorry, Cassandra." She leans her forehead against the wall, sighing. "I'm sorry for being negative."

I heard Vanessa's whisper, and whispered back. "No, it's ok. I was just giving a suggestion. I wanted you to be happy. Don't give up hope. Your wish will come true." I looked at my watch, then back at the wall. "It's late. We better rest. I'm going to go to sleep. Any problems just knock." I said and make myself a small bed with the mats I knitted...

Vanessa lays on her side, her back to the door, the shard of glass forgotten. Smiling to herself, she closes her eyes and drifts into a light sleep. Though her rest was interrupted. The smooth voice of a male coaxed her from her rest.

"Wake up, dear..."

Huryn. The moment Vanessa rolls over, she is grabbed by two large guards, and dragged into the narrow passage. Quickly tying a gag over her mouth, Huryn smiles.

"Shh."

Turning to Cassandra's cell, he unlocks the door and two guards enter, standing over her.

"Wake up, Cassandra."

"Mmm?" I mumbled, still half asleep. I opened one eye and I saw Huryn's face staring at me. I stood up and bowed. "Good night, Master. I wasen't expecting you at this time of night." I said and walked over to him. "And you have Vanessa here too? Thank you, for giving me such a good friend." I smiled at him than at Vanessa, who probably thought I was still asleep. It was quite different they way we acted, but still we were friends. Never seen the sunshine of the earth for half a year already, what else can you do? Even worst enemies can become friends this way...

ooc:Gaurd now.

I was one of the gaurds pulling Vanessa down the hall.I grunted as we awoke the other one.
I don't like her.she seems like shes hiding something.I think I shall start patrolling here more often.Friend?now I'm pretty sure somethings weird.I thought in disgust.

ooc:I'm Noh again.

"Dangerous creatures huh?well lets go!"I said.I jumped as far into the river as I could.I began to wade across.

"Noh! oh never mind..." Steve said,"Wait for me!"

Steve jump into the water and started wading through the water,"You don't know what... never mind lets go but if anything happens it's you fault!"

Steve was continuing to wade through when he noticed something,"oh crud, Noh somethings coming and I don't think it wants to have a friendly conversation..."

Vanessa's gaze was at the floor, and she didn't notice Cassandra's smile. Huryn snapped his fingers and the two guards in her cell grabbed Cassandra by the elbows, and ushered her down the hall. Vanessa refused to walk. Meaning...the guards had to drag her down the hall. They were anything but gentle.

As they reached the end of the hall, Huryn pushed passed them. He quickly unlocked a large door, and pointed inside. The guards entered with Cassandra dna Vanessa, and sat them on small wooden chairs. The chairs had shackles. Their wrists were tied down to the chair's arms, and their legs to the chair's. Their seats were facing a table with paper, and many quills and bottles of ink.

"Now, now..."

Finally awake, I stared hard at Huryn. How disrespectful, I thought. "Excuse me, is that how you treat your employees?" I asked him. Besides, if he was not going to be nice if I obeyed him, there's really no point in doing that. There was one guard that seemed suspicious. I decided to keep an eye on all four of them, just in case....

"Be quiet, Cassandra. You don't work for me unless you write for me...And your little friend likes to ignore my asking..." Huryn smirked and lifted Vanessa's face with her hand at her chin. "Such a pretty pair, I would hate for you to die from starvation in my dungeons."

Vanessa spit in his face when he bent near, tears silently streaming down her cheeks.

Wiping the spittle from his cheeks inpatiently, he growled, "You will not disrespect me again, wench."

"Did I say I won't write for you? You just don't get it do you? Pass me the paper, I'll write something for you." I looked over at Vanessa. "You used to say you liked us, so act like it. Stop harrasing her." I turned my head and looked the other way. "Give me your requirements and I'll try to meet them. And so will my friend." At that time I really didn't care about what Vanessa was thinking, I just wanted to get this over with. I'm still tired...

Out of no where, Huryn's hand flew at Cassandra, backhanding her.

"Quiet!"

A guard stepped forward, and slid the paper in front of Cassandra, as well as a quill and a bottle of ink. He quickly unlocked one of the shackles at Cassandra's wrist.

"A biography. Of myself. Exclaiming how great I am."

Yeah, very helpful. Don't I get a room in his mansion? People who write stuff while tied to a chair is usually writing a confession, from what I know. Ok, whatever. If it'll make him happy, go ahead...

Huryn, a rich and beautiful man, whom also has power. He makes a great leader among people. He has an easy going and nice personality, and gives others a good impression. Many young woman are attracted by his beauty, and long to be his friend. However, nobody has ever been that close to really know what he is like.

So that was easy. I simply srcatched down my first impression of him. On paper instead of my mind. The last sentence was simply for the sake of my friend, Vanessa. I didn't want her to get mad at me for being so nice to him...

Vanessa closed her eyes, ignoring the man. She winced as she heard him backhand Cassandra, tears silently streaming down her cheeks.

Was Cassandra insane? This was no man, he was not great. Surely he would kill them both if he was to recieve what he wished. Cassandra was blind to that fact? She wrote for him...That could surely hurt them both, no matter their names.

"Van Ash."

The name rolled off of Huryn's tongue beautifully. She opened her eyes.

"The amazing Van Ash wishes to hinder her talent?"

"...I will not write for you, Huryn..."

I quickly smudged and got rid of that last sentence. Too bad it's not pencil. Wouln't Vanessa want to look on the bright side? Does she really want to starve to death? I believed I was blind at first, but after some deep thought I decided it might be a nice idea after all.

...And to all those people who admire and follows him, the spirit and kindness of Huryn will live on in their minds forever...

"Here." I played around slightly with my hand, twisted my wrist enough to get rid of it's soreness but not to have him nor the guards see. Now, see if this paper will kill or free me....

Not waiting for Noh to replie Steve noticed a huge boulder,"Good now I just need to focus my telekinesis I can create a dam to block off the water and we'll be able to get through the river easier," with saying that he focused him self on the huge rock and started lifting it up,"just a little closer," He put it right above the river and then let it drop right on the beast...,"sucesse!"
He had created a dam and the water ceased to run through, he could hear the beast screaming in pain,"serves ya right for messing with me..." Steve said walking to catch up with Noh.
