w/ the moves skill swap/role play, u can get great abilities from pokemon. i was thinking: stantler using role play and getting either medicham's pure power, or azumarill's huge power. that way, both pokemon get the great bonus, and stantler can sweep better than most oobers!

    set-up:
medicham:@salac endure, reversal, sball, hp rock
stantler: return, earthquake, role play, shadow ball. and if u r up against a 2 psycical sweepers, stantlers intimidate will help

or stantler: light screen, reflect, role play, return.
(keeps team alive and stantler has pretty good speed, so it will prob no be the last to go)

That could work out well man, Stantler has both the Speed and Attack to pull it off, I can see the opponent thinking "WTF!?"

It's stopped by Skarmory, but Skarmory can just feel how Medicham's STAB'ed Reversal feels :P

Any other pokemon that could pull it off?

Like perhaps another Subrevver or something?

well only stnatler can use roleplay and have good speed/attack.
but im thinking of an enduring bannet
he has high attack and skill swap
so u skill swap, next turn endure @ salac
    and sweep

i have in my team: azumarill and medicham, and bannet, dusclops, clefable to use for follow-me, and stantler.

Sounds alright, I hate how Tyranitar ruins Revvers and Flailers and Endurers, because they are so awesome to use, I guess they needed a cheap little counter :P

The Bannet thing could work, what set you running?

    Shadow Ball/HP Fighting/Endure/Skill Swap?

I have a 2v2 team based on skill swap. The basics of it is I lead with a max speed Gengar and a max Sp Def Metagross. Skill Swap Levitate onto Metagross and he is reduced to one weakness. Thats just the lead combo but I have others once those 2 are dead and gone.

I tried to do a Mean Look + Perish Song Combo in a 2v2 as a technique and it didn't work because Mean Look and Perish Song only target one enemy :P

The reducing Gross' weakness thing sounds okay, especially since you could raise his Sp.Def to cover Fire.

It works very nicely indeed. Additionally, you can safely bring in other EQers once he has Levitate. Nasty stuff indeed.

And Perish Song hits everyone except soundproof pokemon remember? Try an Arena Trapper and a Perish Singer.

Can't a Baton Passing pokemon get out of that?

I wouldn't try Arena Trapping because of fliers and Levitaters.

They Baton Pass the Perish Count so in short. Nope. :)

Yeah Perish Song hits them all, I meant to say Mean Look onlygets one.

Hows this, Duggy + Arena Trap + Protect + Sub :P

    With a Perish Song :P

THOUGH, The PSonger will need to be off the ground, or they can't switch out.

Gar and Missy can do it.

Oh,I forgot Baton Pass passes the good and bad things.
    Well,they are pretty much screwed,then.:D
    Brilliant strategy.:D

Yeah but kill the Perish Songer, or Trapper, and you're out.

That's why a tank or semi-tank should do it.

Yeah, but who's a Tank that can pull it off without dying?

Lapras can't, defense is to low, Gengar could pull it off thanks to Subbing, andbasically using his Speed to stall, Misdreavus might be able to do it, but it can't afford to cover both defenses now thanks to the EV system.

Gengar is the most likely candidate.

Question:does Destiny Bond work on Perish Song?

    Nope.

Not that I can recall anyway, I remember testing it out.

No. The DBer has to be killed by the opponents attacks for it to work.

Well,Destiny Bond is limited then.So it doesn't work if Toxiced, either?

That's what I said Jason and you posted at the same time as me o.0

It has to actually be KILLED, as in attacked, you can't do it through Perish Song.

I reckon Mirror Coat or Counter should bounce Perish Song back :P

You mean Magic Coat. And if you want a tank trapper, use Wobbufet (Mr Cheap). Then if Gar or Missy lives after using P-Song. Use a combo of Sub/Protect to keep them alive, then switch out both Gar and Wobbu on the last turn.
