Make up new abilities for what you may think will be in the upcoming game.

Cacturne: Stalker - When a Pokémon switches, it takes a quarter damage.
Banette: Voo-Doo - When attacked, attacker damaged same amount.
Ariados: False Face - Evasiveness increases by 1 every turn.
Octillery: Multiple Tentacles - All attacks from this one hits eight times.

Unbalanced, is all I can say for those abilities. Free Spikes, eight attacks? The slight evasion increase could be viable though, although the name needs a minor change.

    Spikes:
Description:When a Pokemon hits with a contact move that Pokemon will get hurt
    Pokemon with this ability:
    *Carvahna
    *Sharpedo
    *Cacnea
    *Cacturne
    *Zapdos
    *Qwilfish

That would be so incredibly lame... >D Seriously, an evasion boos every turn? That's just insane. Also, 8 times the damage from each attack? It would be a one hit KO against most Pokémon -_-

The effect from three spikes moves automaticaly? Seriously, have you ever heard about something called ''balance''? (I might have sounded a little rude, but that was not my intention)

Um... Just so you know, Carvanha and Sharpedo already have a trait with that effect, so why would Nintendo change Rough Skin to a trait with the same name as an existing move? :S

Umm. maybe this is another type that inflicts more damage or something else. It doesn't matter though because they are the same abilities and that will be a good thing. Or probably they will get rid of the Rough Skin trait and make replace that with a new trait so it can fit the Pokemon that I listed above.

Sticky Sap- makes opponent unable to switch out and lowers opponent's attack slightly

ERrr lets see.....bonsly, soodowoodo, and some grass type pokemon like butterfree evo cycle or beedril's.

I don't think that they will ever make a ability with two effects. But I wish they did.

No, they shouldn't, because it would be too overpowered. I'm sure that Butterfree, Beedrill, and Sudowoodo will benefit greatly from this which is cool. But they don't have anything sap related about them, so it wouldn't make much sense. And if they gave it to a stronger Pokemon, then it would be way too cheap.
I mean, you already have Shadow Tag which is too cheap because Wobbuffet gets it. But now you have a trait that traps AND lowers Attack? No thank you.

    Anyways, a couple of abilities:

Silence: Lowers opponent's Special Attack when switched in.
Basically a special Intimidate. Needs a better name though. I just chose Silence since it's the standard RPG move for canceling magic spells.

Pouch or Storage - Pokemon can carry 2 items at once. Learned by Delibird, Pelipper, and Kangaskhan.
Not too broken hopefully, as these Pokemon are hardly used.

Also they should change Run Away so that it can escape from the opponent's Shadow Tag/Arena Trap. At least it'll have some use in battle.

I think that all of the weak Pokemon (I mean the Pokemon with bad stats) should have 2 way ability effects.

Pouch/Storage: I love that idea. I think that Golbat (because of big mouth) and Clampearl, Cloyster and Shellder because they can hold things in there shells.

    Lugia.

Mist: As long as this pokemon is in battle, None of your team can get a status problem

Note: Party pokemon statuses DO NOT heal

    Ability: Cosmic Radiation
Pokemon that can have it: Lunatone, Solrock, Mew, Deoxys
Effect: Your Pokemon and the enemy Pokemon takes 20 damage every 2 turns.

Winter: As soon as the Pokemon enters battle, it summons hail.
    - Possible Users: Snorunt, Glalie, Articuno
    - Why: Well, since they have this sort of move for Sandstorm, Sunny Day, and Rain Dance, I figured why not.

Hot Touch: The enemy may become burned when a contact move is used.
    - Possible Users: Slugma/Magcargo, Magby/Magmar, the Cyndaquil family, the Charmander family, Ponyta/Rapidash
    - Why: Again, a similar ability exists for the paralysis, poison, and even attraction conditions.

Frostbite: The enemy may become frozen when a contact move is used.
    - Possible Users: Regice
    - Why: See Hot Touch.

Special Bond: Higher happiness leads to a slight boost for special moves.
    - Possible Users: The Ralts line
    - Why: *shrug* First thing that popped into mind, really. To fully explain it, let's just say that if a Ralts has high happiness, it may get a slight boost for every special attack it uses. It's like STAB, only less powerful and reliant on the Pokemon's happiness value.

High Spirit: Higher happiness leads to a slight boost for physical moves.
    - Possible Users: The Tyrogue line
    - Why: See Special Bond.

I like both ideas. Silence could be something that lowers the Sp. Attack because of getting opponent Pokemon angry 'cause acting cool... or sth :P Storage idea sounds absolutely genius as well.

Frozen Touch: Dig, fly and bounce cannot be used.
    Possible users: Regice, Glalie, Snorunt

Protection: Users SP.D + D. rise by 1, everytime another STAT is lowerd.
    Possible users: Regice, Snorlax, Muchlax

Torch - When evasiveness fells, accurasy sharply highers
Possible Pokemon to use: Umbreon. Sunflora (I don't mention the starters as they have a stadard ability)

This one I like. Maybe Pinsir could have it too, or Spinarak and Ariados.

    Whimper:

Lowers EVERYONE's stat in battle by ONE
Possible useers: Bonsly, Teddiursa, Mawille and anyone that can use Fkae Tears.

    Defense Boost
Description: each time hit the defense stat goes up by 1
    Pokemon: Shuckle and Snorlax.
