Defense Boost

Pokemon: Shuckle and Snorlax.

I don't see why Snorlax or Shuckle would have that. Snorlax's fat wouldn't harden as it gets hit because it's fat, and Shuckle already has godly defensive stats.

Which is making it stronger in Defense. Its like saying the samething with Ninjask. Why does it have Speed boost if its fast already?

Winter: As soon as the Pokemon enters battle, it summons hail.
- Possible Users: Snorunt, Glalie, Articuno
- Why: Well, since they have this sort of move for Sandstorm, Sunny Day, and Rain Dance, I figured why not.
I agree with you on this one, though I don't think the trait would be especialy useful, the Pokémon you mentioned should still have it >D
Hot Touch: The enemy may become burned when a contact move is used.
- Possible Users: Slugma/Magcargo, Magby/Magmar, the Cyndaquil family, the Charmander family, Ponyta/Rapidash
- Why: Again, a similar ability exists for the paralysis, poison, and even attraction conditions.
Um... actually, the trait Flame Body does that and Slugma/Magcargo and Magby/Magmar all have it as a possible trait.
Frostbite: The enemy may become frozen when a contact move is used.
- Possible Users: Regice
- Why: See Hot Touch.
I have to agree with you on this one too, not that I'd have very much use of it (I don't use legendaries, so...), but still.
Defense Boost
Description: each time hit the defense stat goes up by 1
Pokemon: Shuckle and Snorlax.
That would make Snorlax simply overpowered -_- Just imagine a standard curselax, but with added defense from every attack it takes, it would be impossible to stop.

Somehow, Flame Body slipped my mind. Sorry about that.

As for Frostbite, I don't either admittedly, but I had the trait in mind without any Pokemon to give it to. Would Glalie work?

Also, to answer Queen Boo's suggestion, Ninjask's Speed Boosts on its godly Speed are counteracted by the fact that Ninjask isn't supposed to use them. Once it passes three or four boosts, it's actually supposed to use Baton Pass to give another Pokemon with stats that actually support attacking (i.e. a sweeper) the boost. This is unlike Shuckle and Snorlax, who both actually use their defenses as they are (and sometimes with Curse in Snorlax's case) for their strategy. Whether the programmers had this in mind or not I'm not exactly sure about, however.

Not to mention Ninjask is foiled by its sub-par defenses. One Rock Slide, and the thing is gone, especially since the standard Jask set doesn't come with Double Team or Sand-Attack but does come with Substitute (if not Protect). Snorlax and Shuckle, meanwhile, become broken (i.e. overpowered) if they can't be taken down, especially Snorlax (if given Curse and a good physical move).

Adrenaline or Stamina: ( I cant think of a better name)
Does not have to recharge (think hyper beam)

Pokemon: The dratini and larvitar family

Thats a good ability. That will be useful for those Pokemon and a Gyarados.

Excess fat:
Physical moves with power less than 60 have no effect

Pokemon:Snorlax

Excess fat should or could be like this.
All sp. Atk should be cut by 1/4.
Pokemon: Snorlax

:t094:~*!*~Queen Boo~*!*~

Lucky Spikes: When this Pokémon is attacked, it has a 50% chance of healing the damage that would have done instead.

Sandy Shoes: All Pokémon on the field have half the speed that they usually do, but the one with this ability doesn't count.

Ninjask's Speed Boost makes it Speed go sky high. The Defense Boost they'd probably put on Shuckle but not Snorlax.

Lock-in-Attacks never miss.

Party Drainer-Everytime the opponent tries to drain or heal HP it will be taken from a Pokemon in the same party instead.

Equalizer-Negative effects from moves such as Substitute and Swagger don't occur

Those are the few I could come up with.

I will love to see that. Then I'll always pick Shuckle as the Pokemon on my Poke team.

I love this idea, its like another Liquid ooze but the HP isn't coming from you its coming from the party.

Sleep Walk
Pokemon: Tutored to a pokemon, for second ability
Effect: Can use any attack of choice while asleep....

Pokemon like Heracross who have the ability "Guts" would have its means of sleep talk deleted. All you would need is rest.

(yeah I think we should get like 2 abilities to a pokemon)

ooh how about

North Wind Hail is automatically cast each turn.

(like drizzle and drought but for ice types)

Pantemime Duplicates opponent's stat changes each turn.

Super Armor Weakness and resistance effects are nullified.

ok I think the name of the last one needs some work but yeah that's my ideas for possible abilities.

Super Armor: This Pokémon cannot flinch, become confused, or infactuated.

How about Super Armor: while opponet hits with a physical attack that opponet will get recoli damage.

:t093:~*!*~Queen Boo~*!*~

Hey . . . I made Super Armor! Can you call it something else? Here's another:

Dive Armor: When fighting on water, Special Attack and Speed is considered to be twice the amount.

I know that you called it Super Armor its that I give it a better meaning.

Out of all the Super Armors, I like this the best. The others are too overpowered, or too redundant.

We already have that, it's called Rough Skin.

Way too overpowered. Even Pokemon with merely average Spd and Sp. Atk will become too powerful with this trait. If it was a 50% boost, that would be fine. Also, the name is misleading because Armor implies something involving protection or resistance, none of which this trait does.

Most of these abilities won't be put on the game because, like aragornbird said, they're too overpowered.
