    We have set up an automatic redirect to the full PC domain from all the other domains for various reasons. Some of you may notice that you are no longer logged in. This is due to your old cookie being set on the domain you were using, i.e. pkmncommunity.com VS www.pokecommunity.com
    Just log in again and all will work again.
    With this change we hope to increase both security and search engine placements as well as keep PC on one name wile still allowing multiple name accesses..

    Comments? Trouble or problems??

    Personally, I like the idea of having one domain. It keeps everything in order over PC. And that way it doesn't confuse people on other doamins (like sometimes I get a link on PC but got to change the URL around to make it where it's the pokecommunity one).

    yes I run into that alot too.. so with everyone using www.pokecommunity.com no matter where they came in from we'll be just strengthening the whole community.

    Course there will be issues with cookies for a while, but once thats worked itself out all will be good at PC again

    Darn, now I can't be logged into 2 accounts on the same computer anymore....

    yes, you can be... use 2 (or 3+) different browsers.. I use IE for guest testing, opera for basic new user testing and firefox for my main account. You (and anyone else) can do something similar.

    I wondered why the theme changed for a second xD

    Yay for more security…I guess… also was that the reason why iurls weren't linking properly? I thought it was me not knowing how they worked xD

    Heh, I always have used pokecommunity.com, so it doesn't affect me that much ^^.

    But I remember a few times where redirects have changed and things, so it does get confusing.

    Anyway, I'm glad it's fixed ^^

    Yesssssssssss. Awesome move. There should be a lot less confusing now. \o/ Only downside is now I have to open another browser to check guest settings but that's not a big deal~
    Excellent! :D No more hassling with the [url-inline] tag whenever I want to link to something.
    Agreed. I'm so sick of being considerate to everyone who uses a different domain even if Steve just proved that I'M right and I was using the right domain all along. XD

    You want a better page ranking? o.O; You're second only to serebii and that's an obvious reason why. XD

    It's cool though, doesn't bother me. Plus I think it's better having the actual name of the forum as the main domain.

    Frig, now I won't be able to get onto PC from school. >>

    I thought there might be a few users affected like this.. not sure how the schools (or other blocking software) work it but try the pcomm.info name. (it still redirects but the redirect is done at the server so maybe it'll still work)

    i tried pcomm.info a few weeks ago, but it was block cuz it was a forum...... NOT ALL FORUMS ARE BAD, PEOPLE! >.< I'm gonna run a test to see just HOW the blocking system at school works......

    ~~~~~
    Anyway, do links using the other domains still work?
    all the existing PC domains 'work' they just auto-force you to www.pokecommunity.com any 3rd party links (like tinyurl) that people may have set up will still work fine.
    I'm glad this was finally implemented x3
    Great Work
    Nice! I was so sick of clicking a link and being taken to the "pkmn"community. I was also too lazyto log into there. So, now I'm free of that burden <3
