    Hi guys, Ive been reading posts on this forum for a while (particularly the rom hacks section), but only recently decided to create an account and get my hands in it.

    Umm, I guess I'll introduce myself now? My name is Erica, but I also go by OB, Ocean, Eri, or any other nickname people randomly come up with, so long as its not "Hey b****!" lol

    Aside from pokemon, my favorite game series would have to be Mother/Earthbound. Which is funny because the same people who made Mother 1 on the NES would eventually become Game Freak and make pokemon, hehe. Small world.

    I love art, and am an artist myself. I'm also very interested in rom hacking. I want to make my own game really bad, but I dont even know where to begin on making one :[ I have a ton of creative ideas, but no technical knowledge of scripting/coding/idontevenknowwhattocallitlol.

    Umm, what else... I use proper spelling and grammar as often and best as I can? I just feel like if you want to be taken seriously, the least you can do is communicate legibly.

    Seeming as you're interested in making a romhack, perhaps you should head over to the Emulation forums, there's a section for hacking tutorials, etc. over there.

    Oh, and I've only ever played Mother 3, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

    Well, I'm sure you'll find lots to do here :D.

    Yeah, Ive actually been reading the emulation forums for a bit now, Its just all so confusing to me D: I dont really know where to begin on any of my own projects... But its ok.

    Since your interested in art and ROM hacking why not check Emulation and Art Gallery :)
    Also, there are many tutorials created by our more experienced members so why not take a read? :)

    lol i was just jokin about the b word thing but ive gotten a lot of comments about it already, but thats ok since youre all just being nice :] if anyone would like to get involved in any creative projects with me, feel free to PM me about it! <3

    The hackers here are pretty good but I wouldn't know a good hack if it smacked me in the face and told me it was a good hack. I guess we could always get some more of you guys here. Well, anyway, I hope to see you around here sometime Eri. Have fun.
     
    Whats with the :| face? isnt it good for people to have long introductions, so you actually get to know the person? its not like i forced you to read the whole thing either... :/

    anyway, i did already read the rules, i'm pretty sure as long as i dont put up any pr0nz i'll be good, lol.

    yeah the hackers here are good, like i said ive been reading up on it for a while now, i'm just having a hard time getting started. i'm not sure which rom i want to hack (probably something from advance generation though) or which programs i will need for it, but i'm sure i will figure that out soon enough, hehe.
