Suggestion: New claim types

    This is just a quick suggestion. I thought about this for a bit, and realized there should be a movie/film claim thread or a video game claim thread (unless video games are a part of series I havent looked yet >.>) seeing as we can already claim Pokemon, Songs, Celebrities, etc.
     
    It does say video games in the J-E claiming thread but I feel like that could be limited to Japanese games.

    I wouldn't be against this if someone is willing to keep it up.
     
    Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I couldn't see myself claiming movies any time soon (although I do have a definitive top 5) but for others I'm sure it'd be very useful. I've always wondered why there wasn't one myself. Same goes for video games.

    Anyway, I am not sure about the claiming of Video Games, hey, if people would really like it, I am more than happy to set it up and maintain it, but I would rather it didn't just die a week or so later, which seems to happen a lot in my board. =[

    But I will see how much interest it gets and then I will decide! :3​

    There's a series claiming thread. I think that covers most video games, and movies actually.
     
    The series claim thread is in Japanese Entertainment (which doesn't make much sense, to me, but I don't care enough to see why it's there...) in case you were wondering why it wasn't with the others that would fit into that entertainment category.

    It was always there, so I think the general attitude is "why move it" but there's really no other reason, haha. I feel it wouldn't fit in CM as well as it fits in JE if only because you couldn't really merge it with the song thread since that's massive as it is and the series thread is pretty small. It would get lost and otherwise create more stickies than need be. :/

    edit: Well, I guess it could merge with the Celebrities thread to keep with the "all claims together" theme we have going in JE. There's a celeb thread right?
     
    Honestly, if there was just one thread for everything (TV series, films, "celebritees", songs etc.) in Culture & Media, that would make my life a lot easier in keeping track of all of them. Much easier than lots of different bitty threads. I have no objection in principle to a "Film claim thread". Heck, I'd probably use that one more than any of the others. The practicalities are beyond my level of CSS/graphical design stuff (i.e. I HAVE NO CSS/GRAPHICAL DESIGN EXPERTISE!) but if someone were to make a good thread, I'd be happy to keep it in check.
     
    So for the most part all of you who've posted agree with me, that's great :) so we'd need someone skilled at CSS eh?
