4th Gen new DP News

TwinLeaf sounds weird! But really since its the least most important town and the one youll be visiting the least then, who cares?

Mr Rowan sounds English therefore not weird.

It sounds good. I mean it doesn't really matter if you think about it since not like we can do anything to change it but still it is a good name for a starter town. Leaves they must sprout and then grow into what ever plant they are just like trainers must 'sprout' and 'grow' in champions. It is good and kind of creative. Just as fun and creative as Pallet Town when you look at it. The other two like New Bark and Littleroot were just plain and boring for starter towns. 'New' and 'Little' is too much to use in a name for a starter town and boring.

I hope they dont change the names of ledgendaries too! i just started remembering them! but i think they will stick with Regigigas because its practically english already. But if they change it to Regi-Normal i will throw my Ds at the guys who run nintendo

anyway i dont realy like twinleaf or Prof.Rowan, they might as well call it Sap Town and Prof.Syrup

i think they will stick with most of the names because they also look on forums how else did they got the most bugs and they definitely stick with manaphy because that name is already on pokemon.com but i hope they donmt change all of the pokemon names and thay have for example lugia now thats sounds the same as diaruga so they will probally stick with the legendary names or make small changes like serebii to celebi

Twinleaf... doesn't exactly roll off the tongue...

But Pallet I liked but New Bark Town was okay, Then Littleroot, what's next... Twinleaf?

Seriously Pokemon USA make it better.

Its only the name of a town, nothing to really care about.

Really it doesn't make that much of a difference.
Rowan is the most real sounding name for a proffessor ever in a pokemon name. Twinleaf is ok, you don't need a 3 page debate about it. Your not gonna be in the town for 95% of the game. Seriously anyway, who cares, the important thing is the game is fun.

This is just a way to put up your post count.

I find it amusing that you people are so up in arms about the name translations. Think of this: many people playing this game in the US will probably have never heard the original names, so they won't care about translations. I have zero problem with any of the translated names I've seen so far. I figure if you like the Japanese names so much, import that version, or change any names that you can back to the original ones.
