new ds battery?

    I charged my DS yesterday, and today while playing on the second brightness level its already on red. Granted I have been playing it quite a bit but does this sound like I need to get get a new battery? Im only wondering because Ive had my DS for a while but dont think im anywhere near 500 charges and I seriously doubt it has to do with the device itself but Id rather shell out the 15 bucks for a new battery then sending it in to get repaired.
     
    Umm... how long were you playing it? Were you using wireless? Which model is it? These things are important in judging.
     
    Its a ds lite, i was not using wireless. Im not really sure how long i was playing it but it was for a while. Ill charge it up again and kind of keep track of how long it lasts before it goes to red.
