    Well, it seems like EX: Emerald is going to be way different than expected. It will contain the cards from the Deoxys vs. Rayquaza Collector's Box and from the Quick Construction packs too. Looks like it will change, and might I say, it's a good one. What do you guys think?

    EX Emeraude, will be arriving May 9th, 2005 in the USA and August 31st, 2005 in France. Pre-release tournaments in organized format happen on the weekend of April 30/May 1 and the weekend of May 7/May 8. This extraordinary set will conatin all of the cards from...Golden Sky/Silvery Sea, Deoxys vs. Rayquaza Collector's Box, Quick Construction Pack, the three half-decks with Feraligatr/Meganium/Typhlosion ex, and DS stuff

    However, I heard rumors that Pokecardex was misinformed. I'll bring an update on it as soon as possible
     
    the next set named is EX: Emerald, and it will be released in the US (and probably worldwide, not sure on the international situation) on May 9. The prereleases are being held on the two weekends preceeding the Monday released (May 7,8 and April 30/May1). All of this has been confirmed many times over, and prerelease dates have already been set in many of the most active areas. Check all tournament dates on www.pokegym.net, as the tournament organizers always get their information before PUI decides to post it on their main website.
     
    Intriguing, but I'd like to see a card list, though...
     
    You'll only have to wait a month or so for that. Prereleases start on April 30 and continue through May 8. Regionals start the next weekend, so either WIN your Prerelease or buy the cards, as Feraligatr, Typhlosion, and Meganium are VERY likely to be in the set.

    If it says DS stuff, I see a Munchlax in the future right?

    EX: EMERALD
    Release Date: May 16th, 2005
    There Will Be Holographic Basic energy cards are available.
    More than 100 cards in the set, including Speed Deoxys, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza.
    The two theme decks for the set will be based on Milotic (Water/Grass deck) and Manectric (Lightning/Fire deck).

    EX: Gold & Silver
    New Pokemon Tool called - Rage Crystal.
    NEW Cards - Ho-oh ex, Lugia ex, Shining Ho-oh, and Shining Lugia
    Ho-oh ex will have 110 HP, Lugia ex will probably have the same amount as well.
    Espeon ex has 110 HP, not 170.
    Espeon ex's second attack reads as "Does 60 damage plus 30 more times the number of your opponent's trainer cards in play."
    Espeon ex has no retreat cost, while Tyranitar ex has a Psychic resistance.

    Wow, and speed is the Emerald games' new Deoxys form anyway, great TCG debut for it, and at least it still has a form change power, cause' I have the classic varient from my M7 DVD.

    Make sure your seat belts are on tight, because on May 16, your going to witness the release of Pokemon: EX Emerald, to celebrate the upcoming RPG, Pokemon Emerald for Gameboy Advance. This expansion will include more than 100 new cards to build the ultimate decks! Theme Decks will include:

    1 One-player battle field map

    1 Playing Coin

    1 Sheet of damage counters

    60 Cards (1 Holofoil)

    1 Checkbook


    Pokemon EX Emerald Booster Box contains 9 trading cards per booster pack and 36 packs total in the display box. Each booster box contains:

    1 Special Box Topper

    1 Holographic Card

    1 Rare Card

    5 Common Cards

    2 Uncommon Cards

    Also, I will buy as many booster packs as I can for Ex.Emerald, It looks PROMISING!

    mid Aprilish it should start, we are still working out the contest details and all that but keep an eye on PPN and the announcements section here at PC for our announcement :)
