3rd Gen New kind of challenge?

Has any one ever tried chossing a charcter form the pokemon games/ tv series and basing their team around that person. What do you think fo this as a challenge like the monotype challenge if I get some intrest I may work on a set of rules.

Will do challeng if at least 10 people want to enter.

Any main charecter or any Gym leader/ E4

Do you mean take that trainer's type? Because wouldn't that just be monotype? And if you're basing around Ash, then isn't everyone going to have the same Pokemon?

No, a character. Misty, May, Dawn, Ash, Brock, maybe a gym leader? Like CERTAIN pokemon. Oh yeah I forgot Paul and Gary :D

I've never thought of that, very creative.

I would try it. Might have to do some trading, some people cant do that. Or just get pokemon yellow which you can get all starters and pikachu

sounds cool, but it would be pointless having Ash and Gary. They collect different types so you might as well play the game normally. I hate Ash. That kid is so immature... Gary would be more suitable to be the hero of the story than Ash.

I have a rule that we can still play as Ash. Here it is:

If you play as one of those characters then you have to have their exact team.

Yes I will like to try this challenge as long as we can pick trainers like Ash, Gary, May etc. Like i said use my rule if you want.
