Kanto part 4


I have reaped everything with my Golduck, but the Elite Four still awaits.
I got some new pokemon along the way as well.
So this is my team before the Victory Road:

Rodent Update #8
After starting my ruby version, I picked Treeko and named him Slavior. I then trained a bit and ran up to my rival (May) to beat her. After I did, and talked to Professor Birch again, I caught a Zigzagoon.

After getting it up to lv. 20, I was finally able to beat the first gym. I then beat up Team Magma, and then went to the second gym. After beating them all with 1-2 attacks, I made my way to Steve. At this point, I also taught Slavior flash.

I then went to Slateport, and did the stuff there. I then went up to battle May once again. After I beat her, I caught a Minum, Minus. I then beat Wattson. After this, I got Rock Smash, broke the rocks in the Rusturf Tunnel, and went up to beat Team Magma once again.

After doing all of that stuff, I beat Flannery and went down to beat dear old dad. Both of them were easy. I then wandered, wondering how I was going to get a Pokemon that could learn Surf. I then looked at my guide and remembered that Linoone could learn surf. I just met Steve again, and that's where I ended.

I thank my Golduck for being so strong. It took down 20 out of 26 pokemons.
Oh and Nidoran F is so weak that it took down a Haunter 12 levels higher than it self.

Don't forget the element of luck, but it's definitly possible to beat them with that level pokemon, if you use A LOT of potions...
 
OK first Johto update:
Got totodile, went to mr.Pokemon's house, got backand got my first pokeballs. There's the first route, and you know what that mean: bye, bye totodile..., hello hoothoot and pidgey! Beat the first and the second gym in 10 minutes all together! Now it's time for Witney of the Goldenros gym!

Farm animal challenge

Johto part 1

In game name: Farmer
Rival's name: Burn
Game: Gold


I started out with Totodille, and did the starting stuff.

I beat the first gym easily, and caught a Mareep.

I trained Mareep (Flaf), evolved it to Flaaffy and gave it an everstone.

I found out that going though Union Cave will be hard with only Flaaffy, so I started training again.

I then found out that Flaaffy don't learn any moves, that is useful against
rock/ground types, by it self, so I went in anyway with a lvl 22 Flaaffy.

I got through the cave using tackle on the rock-pokemon's.

I fought Team Rocket, my Rival Burn and destroyed the second gym.

I found out that bout the Nidoran's is available in Gold, so I caught them to help me in the 3'rd gym.

I beat the 3'rd gym and the moving tree.

Caught a Stantler (Stan) and a Milktank (Milk) and trained them a little.

I destroyed Burn (Rival) and the 4'th gym.

Caught Psyduck (Gold).

Got Strength and on my way to the 5'th gym.

Johto part 2:

I defeated the 5'th gym, and I got the medicine for the Lighthouse pokemon.
Trained for the 6'th gym and defeated it as well.
Found out that I could catch a Tauros (Bull) in this game too, so I did.
Trained Bull and kicked red Garydoes, Team Rocket and the 7'th gym.

Oh, when I beated the Elite Four in Kanto, my Golduck was my only survivor in 3 of the fights. I used 20 max potions, 10 full restores, 5 potions, 1 hyper potion, 1 super potion, 2 oran berry, 25 times poke flute. Sooo you could say that it is luck + a lot of healing.
 
This challenge looks pretty damn good!

I'll start it after my Steel monotype ( So probably a week and a bit seeing as it's the summer holidays :P )
 
Rodent Update #9
After beating Magma out of the weather station (or whatever it's called), I went to beat the Fortree gym. I then beat Magma on Mt. Pyre and caught a Wingull (Fly) to fly me back to Slateport. After the Submarine robbing, I went back to their base and beat them all. I then beat the Mossdeep gym.

Next, I went to their secret hideout and beat them once again there. I then went to Sootopolis to beat Groudon. Afterwards, I beat Wallace. After healing, I made my way to the Victory Road. I beat Wally, healed, and then went to fight the E4.

The first few fights were okay. I just had to use Leppa berries a few times to get my PP back up in Surf. Steven, however, was a different story. I had to keep on reviving myself in order to win. His last pokemon, Metagross, gave me the most trouble. I was able to scratch out a win with only 30 HP, though. ON TO SINNOH!

I kicked Team Rocket again and got my Swinub.
I trained and got Piloswine.
I defeated the last gym in Johto.
I trained a lot and kicked a** in the Elite Four, I defeated Lance with Gold only having 11 HP left and everyone else fainted.

It really depends at how much effort I put into it at this point. My DS emulator doesn't have a speed button, and is a bit laggy. I'll try to do it as fast as I can, though. (I chose to do it with Pokemon Diamond.)
