So with the new info has your opinion of B2W2 changed at all?

With the new info revealed I'm more excited for the games than I was a month ago. Unova looks alot cooler and I can't wait till we get more details!

Your initial thoughts to the B2W2 scans and information

What were your initial thoughts when you saw the scans and information for the new games? Did you think anything specific about what you saw or just some general things that you picked up?

For me, the very initial thought when I read the information was simple: These games appear to be what the original Black and White games should have been in the first place. Not that the originals were bad, I loved them, its just they seemed incomplete in some way. B2W2 seems to have addressed some of these issues.

My second thought is something that I'm betting on RIGHT NOW, and something which I hope is true. Looking at the character designs, they appear very similar to the player character choices from BW. So, I believe whichever trainer you pick, the OPPOSITE trainer was the one that "Canonically" captured Reshiram/Zekrom, stopped N and Team Plasma and defeated the Elite Four. Whether or not they'll still be the champion, will be an end-game boss like Red or we'll meet them during the story is another thing entirely.

Yeah this is kinda similar to MRAS' thread and the overall news discussion thread, where people have been posting their initial reactions to the games. I merged with MRAS' thread mainly because of the first part, about how you felt about the games. But yeah, people can go into detail as much as they want about their initial/new thoughts here. :) As for the second part, yeah that's covered by the news discussion thread, or really the new characters thread, both work.

LOOOOVE all the new information. I was excited about these games when it was announced they were sequels, and I'm absolutely ecstatic now. Epic plot? Great protagonists? Expanded region? Expanded pokedex? New gym leaders? Yeah, this game's gonna rock. :D

Like I said in another thread concerning this, I completely marked out for this. Nothing else for me to say than to eagerly await the next series of BW2 news.
