I think a September release was the most obvious, but at least we have an official date to go by now. By this, we can at least expect a March release in the US and if it goes anything like HG/SS, then Australia's and Europe's release shouldn't be far behind.
Everything else looks good though. The roller coaster was pretty cool; I'd like to see more of it. As for the new characters, details are still uncertain of right now. However, it seems Black and White are really focusing more on the game's story than other things - like collecting gym badges. Now, while collecting gym badges is the whole center of the game, I always thought the plot should have been more developed in the mainstream Pokémon games. So going by how things are looking thus far, it seems GameFreak is now coming to realize how important it is to bringing out the plot of the game to make it more well rounded and enjoyable.
