This is another OU RMT that I am posting on S&MS.

Before you read please take note that some of the EV sets I have gained from gathering from others and I will give them proper credit if I use something that I've read from some one else.

Though the team was completely my creation so lol here goes.

P.S. No pictures CBA to put them in.

    Empoleon @ Chople Berry
    252 HP / 20 Def / 236 Sp. Att
    Quiet
    -Hydro Pump
    -Aqua Jet
    -Grass Knot
    -Stealth Rock

I first read this set from a post made by Vance of a team he and D_A made. I didn't really get it at first so I tested it out a bit. Coupled with its MANY resistances and large amount of capabilities i FELL IN LOVE with this lead. So all credit to those two for it (not sure who made it)

It's main objective is obvious, SR / Anti Lead. GK demolishes Perts and other bulky waters / grounds. Hydro Pump does MASS damage to quite a few things. 2hko'ing Metagross. Aqua jet as pointed out by Vance is used to pick things off after a broken sash or to be used for priority after Torrent is up and lol'ing at enemy. I really like this set.

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Trait: Hyper Cutter
    40 HP / 252 Att / 216 Spe
    Adament
    -Earthquake
    -Swords Dance
    -Stone Edge
    -Roost

Another pokemon I got from lovably cuddly PC. It's really my first time using gliscor since the advent of platinum and this set is by far my new favorite. I've never used it and it does so much. Lucky for me on my first few battles i got to take out quite a few of his usual switch ins (including but not limited to) Gyarados / Kingdra / Vaporeon and was amazed at the power he had after a single SD. It also helped me a lot being able to outspeed standard lucarios which was great IMO.

He's a reliable Tbolt taker which is nice as 2 of my team are weak to electric.

    Rotom-C @ Choice Scarf
    252 Spe / 252 Sp. Att / 4 HP
    Timid
    -Thunderbolt
    -Leaf Storm
    -Trick
    -Hidden Power Fire

This set was given to me by a friend of mine from YouTube and another chat I go to a lot named (Rosstein). He made this set and it's not bad to say the least. Leaf Storm was mainly for Perts and Tbolt / HP fire were for DD'ed Gyaras / Scizors. Trick is for blissey and getting rid of the Scarf when necessary (which helped me earleir today).

I however am considering a different set of rotom > this one as I find Leaf Storm to be really ridiculous. It doesn't do much aside from some Rocks (TTar) and Swampart. Here is what i was thinking....

    Rotom-H/W @ Choice Scarf
    252 Spe / 252 Sp. Att / 4 HP
    Timid
    -Thunderbolt
    -<Signature Move>
    -Trick
    -Hidden Power Ice / Grass

I'm iffffy on this one. I like Rotom-W for being able to hit things like TTar VERY hard and doesn't lose a stat point in the process. It's also very useful for bulky ground types named Hippowdon. Though Rotom-H does a very suitable job of OHKO'ing Scizor with Overheat. The main reason I would use over heat would be for the fact that a CB'ed Bullet punch does quite a bit and coupled with sand and rocks i'll probably (not sure) get 2hko'ed which would mean I'd need the 1HKO to ensure victory. HP Ice or Grass is always one of my biggest debates. Hp grass hits Swampart but other than that it doesn't do much. HP Ice OHKO's your friendly neighborhood salamence / Dnite and do quite a bit to some Grass types (considering I would use Hydro pump if using rotom-W)

    Gyarados @ Liechi Berry
    252 Att / 252 Spe / 4 HP
    Adament
    -Substitute
    -Dragon Dance
    -Bounce
    -Waterfall

Dear god I LOVE this thing. It actually allowed me to sweep earlier today. Sub up to the Liechi is great. Very easy to Sub up with a DD in. Sub also allows me to get n quite a free DD which only bolsters it even more. I've seen D_A parading this set around (or the idea of it) so I just had to tag along and try one out. It's spectacular. I loved it in my first match and will probably be using it a lot more than Bulky Gyara (which i'm very well known for using)

    Kingdra @ Life Orb
    252 Sp. Att / 116 Spe / 140 Att
    Lonely
    -Rain Dance
    -Waterfall
    -Draco Meteor
    -Hydro Pump

Water Dragon Coverage ftw. Neutrality to all attacks bar Dragon ftw. 4x Resist to fire FTW. I LOVE kingdra lol. I originally had a SpecsJolteon in its place but it didn't really do much. Throwing this bad boy in helped with my resistances quite a fair bit lol. Rain Dance does not hurt my team much at all in my honest opinion. The only thing I'd have to worry about would be opposing Kingdras but assuming I still have my Gyara (for physical sets) or my empoleon (for either) i don't see myself being to messed up. I'm iffy about the EV's I feel a changes is necessary (looks at Obama) *joke*

    Scizor @ Choice Band
    Technician
    252 Att / 252 Spe / 4 HP
    Adament
    -Bullet Punch
    -U-turn
    -Pursuit
    -Superpower

This is my replacement for heracross and it has helped me tremendously :)

I plugged in the types I used on psypokes and this is what I got

Number of Pokemon having Weaknesses and Resistances:
    4x Resist 2x Resist Immune 2x Weak 4x Weak
    Bug 0 5 0 0 0
    Dark 0 2 0 1 0
    Dragon 0 1 0 1 0
    Electric 0 1 1 1 1
    Fighting 0 3 1 1 0
    Fire 1 1 0 1 0
    Flying 0 2 0 0 1
    Ghost 0 1 0 1 0
    Grass 0 1 0 0 0
    Ground 0 1 3 1 0
    Ice 1 0 0 0 1
    Normal 0 1 1 0 0
    Poison 0 2 1 0 0
    Psychic 0 1 0 1 0
    Rock 0 1 0 1 0
    Steel 1 3 0 0 0
    Water 1 2 0 1 0

Please note that if you plug in types you'll get 2 2x weak to ground but the electric ghost has levitate so i changed it to a 3rd immunity.

I basically have a LOT of resistance and makes my switching a breeze.

    Rate away!

Massive DD Salamence weak and you also lack priority. Needs more CB Scizor >>> Heracross. This would also helps with your massive Tyranitar weak.

Actually this team would geatly benefit from Toxic Spikes since both Gliscor and Gyarados, common counters are utterly owned by them, but eh.

Regardless your evs on Gliscor are messed up

    Gliscor@Life orb
    Adamant Nature
    42 HP / 252 ATT / 216 Speed
    Trait : Hyper Cutter
    - Swords Dance
    - Roost
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge

    Evs beat Adamant Lucario.

    • Why Adamant >>Jolly ? Simple, because of power. A SD LO EQ from this thing ohko's max/max Vaporeon most of the time. This can act as your lure to lure in bulky waters who also counter Gyarados. With its counter out of the way or crippled by Gliscor, Gyarados is free to sweep much easier.

    • "But i lose to jolly Lucario", This is moot when you think about it logically, Ice Punch Lucario cant get past Gyrados OR Rotom and if it has Crunch or Stone Edge it cant beat Gliscor, so you are safe. ^^

    Just some thoughts here.

Assuming max/max means max hp / max defense *ran a calculation*

his move doubles in power if the opponent is under the effects of Dig
    Min Avg Max
    Not digging 370 404 435
    Digging 739 804 868
Gliscor receives STAB (1.5× damage) for this attack
This move deals 1.3× damage with Life Orb in effect

Max HP on a vaporeon is over 460 iirc. I don't think thats going to OHKO it ever :/

in the other thread, you made mention of rotom with leaf storm. the reason why i don't run leaf storm and don't suggest running leaf storm or rotom-C for that matter just to handle swampert is specifically so that you can actually lure swampert in knowing that you aren't rotom-C, and secondly, so you don't have to lead a -2 sp atk stat.

also, i wouldn't suggest running a full offensive, timid, rotom set. you can successfully run a trick set with modest and enough hp evs to outspeed base 115 spd, which is all your team really needs to handle starmie and to take boosted pursuit from scarf'd Scizor (after the trick).

overall, your team lacks a certain synergy. as soon as empoleon is gone, which it probably will be mid-game, a specsStarmie can easily Psychic it's way through the team. while it is uncommon, i'm just helping you realize how vulnerable your team is.

you may want to reconsider kingdra or heracross for something with priority. while i'm a big fan of heracross and realize it somewhat benefits from rain (lowering fire damage), i feel it isn't doing much for your team. scizor is an obvious pick for replacement, but if you haven't noticed, you severely need something to handle subPetaya Empoleon as it sets up on 3 pokes on your team and gets an added boost from kingdra's rain. i can't think of anything other than toxicroak who is terrible in OU, so yeah, good luck with that XD

final couple things: your team has trouble against similar bounce gyara sets (hey, they're awesome lol. i've been running one for months now), and you're team really suffers from status. a double status rotom would give your team hell.

Wut ? It does an average of 85.56%.

Anyways which damage calc are you using, because its prolly wrong? Use this one

(79.09% - 93.32%) <-- Adamant SD LO EQ does this to max max bold vappy. Even if it lives its crippled beyond belief lol. Which means it cant wall Gyarados anymore.

41.03% chance to OHKO with SR up.

i think you're forgetting that gliscor SDs on the switch. if vappy recovers hp after SR with leftovers, it'd probably be better off passing the atk elsewhere. if it doesn't, there's a good chance it's a spec'd vaporeon, which is a lot more plausible to finish off. if ttar made way into battle, this would make more sense as, generally, gliscor is ttar's counter.

yeah, i wouldn't be set with those numbers.

41.03% chance to OHKO is with SR + Leftovers taken into account btw. =p

    I forgot SR

Also I added in Scizor to fix things > Heracross. It helps it a lot and gives it a much better flow. I'd prefer to keep kingdra tbh. It's a valuable fire resistance and has a lot of good resistances towards it. Also, I dont' see starmie being much of a threat considering Rotom Out speeds it and with Scizor I'm now able to pursuit it to death.

Just be careful of LOStarmie. Here's what its Hydro Pump does to 4 HP/0 SpD Scizor:
    299 Atk vs 196 Def & 272 HP (120 Base Power): 255 - 301 (93.75% - 110.66%)
Good chance to OHKO, it WILL OHKO after SR damage.

    Ok i see your point.
