    I read somewhere that Pokemon Platinum will introduce about 60 new Pokemon/Forms/Evolutions when it comes out. Is this true? The japanese Platinum is out already.

    No, unfortunately the 59 new pokemon they said we're being released in Platinum are just 59 old Pokemon that you can get in Platinum before the national dex.

    Nope, there are only 3 new formes. Giratina, Shaymin, and Rotom. Other than that, everything else is the same.

    EDIT: There was probably a misunderstanding explained in Ryan24's post.
