New Strategy - Wait for the Person to Concede

I just recently had a few run-ins with this guy, BadLoon. His strategy is to not do anything during his turn and wait for you to concede. I'm a guy who plays to the bitter end (don't really know how to put this in a better way) so I don't concede while waiting for this guy. Of course, I'm often watch TV while waiting between turns (probably why I don't win so much) so this guy can wait as long as he wants.

Still, I rather not see him again so is there anything I can do so I don't face him again. Other than tournaments of course, I don't think that can be helped

I think I played the same guy. He made the game last a half hour. As far as I know you can report people on there but stalling isn't really a reportable thing. I think you can also block people but only in chat.

It's a jerk move, certainly, but it's something that's generally hard to enforce given that there are a number of players who have awful internet connections and also a number of players are children who may not have a full grasp on the game.

Yes but they pair people off based on some sort of ranking/win system. Once you get to a certain point (like I have) everyone you are playing should know what they are doing and what the cards all do. There is absolutely no reason for a player to take 5 minutes on his turn.

I know in the physical game with a judge present, you can (and if I'm your judge, will!) be penalized for excessive slow play. I feel like there should be something in place in competition matches online where you can mark a player as someone who stalls or otherwise tries to take advantage of the rule. An Amazon rating systems for players, in some ways? :P

Would be nice, but I don't see them implementing it anytime soon.
