New Subforum Idea.

    I think in Game Development there should be a Subforum called Planning Stages. Planning Stages could be about someones idea to make a game (without being started) & people can discuss & join the project if wanted.

    It would be good for people who just want to start something knowing he/she would have back up support by a team & know that they all like the idea.

    If you don't like this sorry.
    (It caught my eye awhile back in 04 when I join RMXP Forums.)

    It wouldn't work very well at all, to be completely honest with you. A sub forum like that, or even thread, would just be used by n00bs who have no skill in game making what-so-ever and just want other people to make their games for them.

    And, from experience in Game Development, decent programmers/artists etc will never join a project that hasn't been started and is just an idea. And we have the Member Recruitment Thread stickied in Game Dev for people who have started their games but are looking for a little help to speed up the progression times of their games. So this isn't really needed, nor will it be useful.

    Well, that's my two cents. It's a nice idea, it just wouldn't work.

    EDIT: What's a SANDBOX thread? o.O
     
    haha, I like that! I sandbox thred! brilliant, I think its a good idea, but it would give the spammers another forum to spam up...I dunno, I dont make games(I will tho! Im goin to Devry!) But I'd be happy to try and make sure the spammers dont spam! ^-^
