Alrighty, I think it's definitely time for another TCard Contest. Unfortunantly, I have yet to set any real plans into motion. So, this is where you guys come in. DUN, dun, dun! I'll be needing ideas & suggestions on how exactly this contest should play out - contest categories, rules, the like.

As reference, here is what the old contest layout looked like. This is to help you form ideas & suggestions:
    Contest Category Info/Rules

    Categories:

    Classic - R/S & FR/LG style TCards
    New Age - Anything goes
    Animated - Animated cards

    Rules & Regulations:

    Overall:
    - TCards submitted in the Classic & New Age categories have to be your own work.
    - In the Animated category you may use TCards made by other people as long as you give credit.
    - You may only send in 1 TCard per category thus allowing 3 possible entires.

    Classic:
Cards entered must look identical to the TCards in R/S or Fr/Lg. You ARE allowed to make minor changes to the templates, which I go into more detail below the classic TCard example.
    - Size Limit: Width[228] - Heigth[148] pixels

Things you may edit on the classic TCard:
    - You may change the color on ANYTHING
    - You may change the pokeballs to another type of pokeball
    - You may use ANY font
    - You may change the background to anything you wish
    - You may make other minor edits as long as it's nothing too drastic (For example, you may round off corners of the TCard)

    New Age:
Anything goes except the size, but remember that this is a TCard competition, so keep in the spirit.
    - Size Limit: No more than Width[320] - Heigth[200] pixels

New Age entries will be judged on originality, so keep that in mind.

    Animated:
Animate your cards! Two different types are accepted...

    - Slide Show: Please try not to make this animation have more than 10 slides.
    - Rotating: Keep the speed of the rotating card in mind when making your animated TCard

I encourage everyone to make your own TCards for your animations, but if you must, use whatever cards you already own via TCard Request threads. As stated above, give credit to the people who created the cards.

    Contest Info/Dates & Deadlines:

I will accept all TCard entries through PM only. Please do not send multiple PMs of the same entry. Also, in the subject line of the PM, put whatever category you are entering that particular TCard in.

    - Contest will run ...
    - Start sending in TCard entries ...
    - All entries must be in by ...
    - Entires will be judged ...
    - Results will be posted ...

    o.o

Erm, please do not ask for TCards in this thread... Ask for a TCard in one of the MANY TCard request threads available in this forum. Just check a thread & if the thread starter is still making TCards, then fill out their form & they'll make you one as soon as possible.

I suggest that you set a rule with the name and details (party, description etc) of the trainer, so that you can judge them against each other.

Could you explain a little more? I'm interested, but I'm just terribly confused by what you mean.

I'll join... but I have no idea what to do... hmm...

Join? You mean join the contest? We haven't even started it yet. We're still trying to figure out what the contests categories, rules, etc will be. It's an open discussion... You have any suggestions for the contest Sapphire Dragon?

How about a rule not to use the pinball things? I find them overused, and it could make entries a bit more original.

Hmm, I don't think restricting one type of template is very fair. Letting people choose or make whatever type of template they want is just normal.

Not template, just template material. But, if you don't want it, ok.

Hopefully within the next month sometime. I was hoping I'd get some decent input on contest ideas but so far I've only had two real suggestions...

How about a template contest for a template that best shows off your pokemon's stats, not yours? Animated? With six frames? (Or more if you feel like doing it frame by frame)

    - In the Animated category you may use TCards made by other people as long as you give credit.
Why that? Is it a contest for making TCards or showing them? In my opnition (however it's spelled) it would be better if all cards have to be made of yourself.. Just as my comments.

I'm sure will join the contest when it's started! (Even if it was like a half year since my Dex Cards.. :D )

If this contest is still running, i would like to enter the following card into the New Age category. Presenting the Card for the trainer who has everything, *image removed*

This card has everything!! Shows your name, character, pokemon, ID number, All badges from the kanto, johto, and hoenn regions, Pokedex number ( A ribbon like thing that says complete if you have all 386), And the newest thing that no other card yet has........... The Battle Frontier Symbols. Please dont steal these symbols or this template without giving me credit. It took a long time to make the symbols from scratch using a magnifying glass and my gameboy. It also took a while to find a way to fit all that stuff in one card while keeping it nice and neat. Here are all the symbols in silver and gold. *image removed* Just give me credit when you use them. The gold coloring is a bit off though.
    Anyway, there's my entry!

DOES ANYBODY EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS THREAD??? OR IS IT DEAD?!?!
