new to competitive play

Hey guys just joined the community and trying to get started. I'm not yet ready to start building a team however I have gone through gen 3 up to now collecting, but now I am trying to collect all the mega stones into my y version I have the stones but no way to transfer them may anyone be willing to help? also any tips for me as a new community member or as a new competitive player

As I understand, you want to transfer a Pokemon from a Gen 3 game to Pokemon Y, correct? Hoo boy, that's a lot of trading to do. Thankfully, Trade Corner has a guide on the very thing.
