Ya probably all get this alot but im quite new to hacking, i've done a little sprite editing and map tile editing but nothing special, anyway I was just poking around wantin to ask how to change the characters in-battle sprite, and i dont mean the pokemons.

Go to the tutorial section. There are a bunch of tutorials on how to change trainer sprites

What do you mean by 'the characters'? Do you mean the players back-sprite or other trainers sprites? If you look through the tutorials section, you'll find a lot of tutorials explaining how to do this.
